Dear OverProtocol Community,

First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude to those of you who have been contributing to OverProtocol for a long time. Now, it's time for us to embark on a new journey together.

Currently, I am reviewing all responses and data to determine the recipients for the airdrop remediation process. Since the airdrop allocation is fixed, it's essential to remove as many duplicate accounts and bots as possible to ensure that those who have contributed honestly receive a fairer share. I’ve noticed that even in the Google Form submissions, there were many attempts to use multiple accounts.

The OverProtocol team has always been committed to listening to the community’s voice.

The recent remediation through the Google Form is a direct result of those voices being heard. I conveyed the community's requests to the team, and they responded positively despite the tight schedule. The maximum time we could offer for the form was one day.

Of course, this remediation Google Form itself was created for those who, for various reasons, were unable to complete the Sybil Detection process during the two previous opportunities. We understand that some community members could not complete the process, not just due to their country but also for a range of other reasons. This is why requests for targeted remediation for specific countries cannot be accepted.

We understand that one day may feel short, and that some people struggled to meet the deadline due to the tight schedule. So we sent out hundreds of messages across the community, emphasizing that the form must be submitted before the Sybil Detection deadline.

Just as the team listens to the community, the community members who listen to the team have successfully completed the process. This makes it possible for us to manage the tasks, even though it will be challenging. Thanks to your cooperation, we're on track to complete everything within the timeline.

However, for those who skip both the two previous Sybil Detection opportunities(The remediation Google Form is not a third Sybil Detection process. It was provided for those who were unable to successfully complete the previous two opportunities. Since there were individuals who could not perform Sybil Detection for various reasons, not just because of their country, it is difficult to accept requests for targeted remediation for specific countries.) and the numerous community notices, I will not be requesting additional support from the team. As a community manager, this is my decision. After reviewing chat logs, it’s evident that many of those raising complaints had already been informed multiple times of the process. Interestingly, many also seemed unaware that the OverNode airdrop is unaffected by Sybil Detection results.

Pushing for additional opportunities for remediation will delay the entire timeline, forcing the passionate and dedicated contributors who have adhered to the team’s guidance to wait even longer. Some people mistakenly believe that remediation is a simple process, but gathering the data from the Google Form, reviewing detailed indicators, selecting eligible recipients, and reflecting those lists take at least two days. Beyond that, the data must be carefully integrated and used to adjust and finalize airdrop calculations. All of this requires significant time and effort.

I will not betray the passionate contributors who have consistently listened to the team and sincerely contributed to OverProtocol. 😍
It’s impossible to make everyone happy, and my role is to build a strong community centered around those who share our vision and direction.

I will be communicating to the team that we absolutely cannot accommodate the requests for additional remediation opportunities due to time constraints. I will also emphasize that granting these requests would only make our dedicated contributors wait longer, which would be unfair to them.

To those who have actively participated, listened to the team, and are ready to continue this journey with us, thank you. And to those who, for various reasons, are no longer with us, I also extend my gratitude. Wherever you go from here, I wish you success on your future paths. 🫡
