👐🌍 Today is Global Handwashing Day, a worldwide reminder of the importance of clean hands for good health and disease prevention! Handwashing is a simple yet powerful action that we can all take to protect ourselves and our communities from the spread of germs and illnesses. Whether at home, at school, in the workplace, or out in public, proper hand hygiene can save lives and improve overall health outcomes, especially in times of increased health concerns.

Here's a step-by-step guide to effective handwashing:

✅Wet your hands with clean, running water (warm or cold).
✅Apply soap and lather up—make sure to cover all surfaces.
✅Scrub for at least 20 seconds (you can sing “Happy Birthday” twice to keep time). ✅Pay attention to all parts of your hands, including the backs, between your fingers, and under your nails.
✅Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
✅Dry your hands using a clean towel or air dry them.

When should you wash your hands? 🤔
