AQRR009 is out today!

Today sees the release of 'Form Less Ness’ by Andy Cartwright (DL/CD).

The album consists of 13 abstract pieces of microsound, ambiances & field recordings processed in different ways, and sometimes beyond recognition from the original sound source. The collection of tracks has an airy and watery quality to them, almost taking shape of sound-installments, balancing on the verge between ambient music and soundart.

Some might know Andy Cartwright as guitar-experimentalist Seabuckthorn. On ‘Form Less Ness’ Andy steps away from the guitar as the primary focus, but maintains his experimental and abstract approach, continuing the electroacoustic style presented on albums released on labels like Fluid-Audio.

The cassette tape includes a handstamped download card, and features original artwork by Rene Steen Sørensen. The album is recorded, mixed and mastered by Frederik Brandt Jakobsen - Hikikomori Studio.

Today MM Works has a new track out - a two-part cover version of ‘Postcard From N.Y.’ by the legendary Marc Ribot.

‘Postcard From N.Y.’ is the first track of the album ‘Reworks’.

‘Reworks’ is a dynamic album, a compilation of sporadically released singles. All songs on the album will be cover-versions of original compositions by some of MM Works’ favourite composers and musicians.

‘Reworks’ is not available on bandcamp, but on all streaming platforms.

All music is released in accordance with the original composers/songwriters and/or obtained licenses and permissions.
