Went from 145 to 980 followers and from 1.8k to 42k accounts reached in just 2 weeks 🤩 Here's how I did it ⤵️

Forgot to take screenshot of 145 followers 🤷🏿‍♀️

1. After the first week, I checked which posts did well and repeated that style.

2. Used hashtags that fit my audience. Really focused on what hashtags my audience follows. Did a/b testing to know this as well.

3. Used Instagram's topic suggestions to match my content with interested people. I'm big on using what platforms give you to achieve results.

4. Made content that helps my audience right away. They say adding value doesn't add cash flow. We shall see. 😌

5. Used clear prompts that got people to act.

6. Responded to comments to connect with my followers.

7. Used b-roll videos. This was a time saver to not have to get and myself together. Just show what I was doing. A random behind the scenes video.

8. Added nice covers to my reels with titles so people who came to my profile could find what they were looking for.

B-roll content is my favorite pieces of content. Like hot sauce it can be used for anything.🤣 ⤵️

B-roll video content examples:

✨️making a smoothie
✨️ reading a book
✨️ walking

You can use for a education , inspiration , and fun. You can reuse it over and over again. It is very multipurpose.

You should always have a bucket of b-roll content. It makes social media life so much easier. 💕

My business page went from 145 followers to reaching 18k accounts and gaining 267 followers. Here's what I did ⤵️

So I wasn't active on my business page at all what so ever for 3 months and was at 145 followers. (I thought I had a screenshot)🤷🏿‍♀️

Things I implemented:

✨ ️Got clear goals and target audience.
✨️ Learned from successful content hooks, especially TikTok.
✨️ Shared valuable content for ideal clients' needs.
✨️ Used relevant hashtags.
✨️ Reused lots of existing content.
✨️ Posted at least 2 videos every day.

And I made sure to have fun. If not, I took a break and gave myself grace.

Comparing yourself to others can make it hard because you are trying to learn what they are doing to get their results and instead of mastering your own style.

Here is what you are going to do to know what to post easily 🥁

Ask your audience this simple question:
"What kind of posts do you want to see from me ?"

and if they don't answer ...

Ask a relative , co-worker, client, or friend.

Now that you have a solution, Are you going to do it? 🤔

If the answer is no, because you don't have the time and are too busy servicing clients.

Your email list isn't growing probably because of one of these 3 reasons 📧

🗣️Not telling people about your email list: If you don't let others know that you have a worthwhile email list with special offers and valuable info, they won't sign up! Share it everyday.

👎🏿No good reason to sign up: People like getting free stuff, like ebooks or checklists that help them solve problems. So, offer something valuable as an incentive to join your email list.

😕Don't make it complicated: Asking people to fill out a big application to get something free is a turn-off. Keep it simple and easy to join.

Life before becoming a virtual assistant 💕 Before becoming a virtual assistant I was working in social services For 5 years being on call for 24 hours, dealing with politics and a lot of different personalities which was very draining mentally, physically, & emotionally. Because of this. I'm able to serve and help people, actually, get paid for it, and stop helping others for free. also, helped me realize my value and to start charging that. But 7 months in and I don't regret the decision at all and can't wait to be the go-to VA for Black and Indigenous Women of color business owners when they are ready for a team.
