Over the Christmas period, I sat down with my brother, Tom Carling, to discussing The Coddling of the American Mind by Greg Lukianoff and Jonathan Haidt. A book neither of us had read for over a year, but that had a significant influence on both of us and felt like it warranted a trawl through the memory banks.

The first episode in a while is a short one, but good things come in small packages. Recorded back in November, myself and Jon Robins discuss Warren Farrel's The Boy Crisis. An interesting look at the role of boys and men in society, where things are going wrong, and where they can be improved.

I've not published in a while, but I have been recording conversations during that time. Unfortunately time to edit episodes has been elusive. I'm now working my way through the backlog and hoping to get more out soon.

As always, if anyone has a book they would like to discuss with me then get in touch and we'll make it happen.

In this episode I'm joined by Jon Robins to discuss The Boy Crisis by Warren Farrell. This felt like a very productive conversation and closer to the quality...

Happy Saturday everyone!

In case anyone missed my most recent episode...

I spoke with Claire, one of the founders of Charlie's Place animal sanctuary, about how her most harrowing experience gave her the strength and resilience to persevere through every struggle since. This is fast in its way to becoming my most watch episode so far, and there are links to Charlie's Place in the description for those who want to support the work they do.

Also, I will be announcing a new podcast project this weekend, with opportunities for people to get involved. I'm excited about it, and you should be too.

In my latest episode I'm joined by Claire Robinson of Charlie's Place animal sanctuary. We discuss the nature of their work, and how dealing with the stillbirth of her son Luke when she was young gave her the strength and motivation to overcome other adversities. It was fascinating getting an insight to how someone can persevere with the hard work of looking after animals every day, without any pay or reward.
