CLARIFICATION

This press clarification is issued in regard to the recovery of two dead bodies with bullet wounds on February 12 at near Tong Kyaw village Myanmar.
KNA-B is baffled and bewildered over some Imphal - based media reports who included KNA-B as one among the suspects over the said incident. It is highly questionable on what basis the Imphal-based media houses named KNA-B among the suspects. Was it a game plan to tarnish the image of KNA-B ? Or intentional distortion to show bad impression on KNA-B ?.
It came to know only through imphal-based media reports that two Manipur militants found dead with gunshots and three other missing at near Tong Kyaw, Myanmar.
The KNA-B is compelled to issued this press clarification as the misleading Media reports over the said incident is potential to promote a bad impression on KNA-B. People should not be carried away by such baseless report. KNA-B has no connection whatsoever with the said incident.
The media houses are appeal to ascertain the truth and to check misinformation and disinformation before flashing out in their news bulletin.
KNA-B operate under its own constitutions and has no policy of killing members of another armed group who are struggling for freedom. Instead, KNA-B deemed them as comrade in arms.
Attempt to implicate KNA-B in the killing of Manipur based militants at near Tong Kyaw is yet another move to show the KNA-B in false light.
