President Weah Releases New Song
-Throws Jibes At Opposition Ahead of 2023 Elections
Monrovia, Liberia- President George M. Weah has released a new song titled: "Talk Talk," featuring musicians Dang and Tankun J.
The released of the song now brings to 11 songs being recoded and released by the Liberian Chief Executive since his ascendancy to the Presidency of the counttry.
The Liberian leader in his song throw jibes at political opponents precisely Joseph Boakai of the Unity Party (UP) and Alexander Cummings of the Collaborating Political Party (CPP).
The President referring to both Boakai and Cummings as "B" and "C" in the song also labelled them as "talk-without-action politicians."
The release of the song comes ahead of the 2023 Presidential and Legislative Elections in which he (Weah) is recontesting for his second term in office, as his first mandate is expected to expire this year.
However, the new song has since received mixed reactions on social media, with some Liberians praising the songs while others are criticizing the President for his repeated releases of music.
