Why Renaissance Men we are often asked?

The Renaissance time period is known for promoting the rediscovery of classical philosophy, literature and art.

This was an essential time for all Humanity when it came to creativity and I would argue, excellence also.

A Renaissance man, means a man with many talents or areas of knowledge. The ability to not be boxed in, which is what we represent. There is no one thing you can tie us to individually or as a group and that is how we want it to be. We live in a time where picking one thing and sticking to it is preached a lot, but much like the birth of the renaissance, where it was perfectly acceptable to have someone be a doctor, poet, philosopher and a musician. We want to and believe we do embody people who can do many things to above average standards and have the determination to push all the things we do to what is considered excellence.

But as you can tell there isn’t and wasn’t a lot of representation back in the 17th century when it came to people who look like us.

So we worked with to create a Renaissance Men artwork & poster that represents men with many talents in this age and time. One that represents US.

He drew the stones that cover our backs while we laid the stones for what will be a strong foundation and the beginning of something great.

Those philosophers and debaters wouldn’t want to see me and my lot!

Have a go at spotting the gems and the things that beat embody all the cast members.

Wouldn’t be here without you guys that allow us to do what we enjoy doing for your pleasure. Thanks for the continued support. RM.

First and most importantly we just want to say if you are responsible for just one of those views we appreciate you.

Secondly anyone who’s ever been a part of Renaissance Men, no matter the length of time, any feat no matter how small or big is not possible without you.

To the cohosts, the appreciation can not be measured, we have something good going, so long as we put in the work and believe, and with a bit of steering from the forces that be, the the opportunities are endless.

Listen this is a small feat but something I never imagined we’d reach so it leaves me wondering what about all the other things I think we can’t reach, I can’t be allowed to think that way anymore.

I sometimes wonder if the things in my life that stopped my journey in other passions was God steering me this way, f**k knows but right now I put my heart and blood into this s**t! I’m constantly thinking for Renaissance Men, like always.

So this feels good, I stay up late every night to catch American algorithms, I spend hours editing, watching for experience, thinking, being uncomfortable and more when I could be seeing family and spending time with my girlfriend. I do a lot of work for what can feel like not enough reward sometimes, though I’m reminded it’s the journey, it always will be, and the appreciation will never stop from me. The work will never stop.

Why else would God or the universe have created those bonds called family, blood and friends? To get help. But those same bonds create biases and those biases make it hard for us to turn to those bonds, and that’s the unique role a therapist, counsellor, psychiatrist and more of the same, hold. - Thabelo talks therapy/counselling and tries to give all the information some if not most of us might need should we ever get to a point where we feel we might need professional help.
