Flying Lotus will direct and score his second feature film titled Ash!🤯🤯
The musician, whose actual name is Steven Ellison, will direct the film and compose an original score. The production of Ash is set to start this summer.
According to promotional materials, the upcoming sci-fi horror film revolves around a lady who "wakes up on a distant planet and finds the crew of her space station viciously killed."
On the project, Ellison will collaborate with XYZ Films and GFC Films, with the former also contributing funding for its production.
The plot of this film is based on an original screenplay by Jonni Remmler.
This upcoming film follows his body horror anthology Kuso, which made its world premiere at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival.

Coachella launched NFT collection offering lifetime passes to the festival!🎟️🎟️🎉
On February 4, the festival giant planned to offload freshly minted Coachella Collectible Nfts in partnership with Bahamian based crypto currency exchange FTX.
In addition to auctioning off 10 non-fungible lifetime passes, the Indio attraction will dispense digital collectibles redeemable for physical items, exclusive art prints🌆, photo books📚, and more.
What’s more, “special experiences” at Coachella 2022 are in store for lifetime ticket buyers; such NFT holders may expect “front and center views at the Coachella Stage, lifelong Safari camping, or a banquet made by a professional chef in the Rose Garden.”
The Coachella Key Collection, Sights & Sounds, and Desert Reflections NFT collections are available till 11 February on “an environmentally friendly marketplace on Solana,” per Coachella’s new NFT-focused webpage.

The venue announced on social media that its final show will take place on January 29, 2022.
The final show at the venue will be The Hydra: Not To Be, which makes for a fitting sendoff as it features iconic regional talent!〽️
The Drumsheds opened in 2019 by the promotional team behind the sister venue, Printworks. A large-scale warehouse venue with more than ten acres of outdoor space, The Drumsheds hosted events of up to 40,000 in its short-lived heyday.

The Grammys are heading to the Las Vegas Strip this year for the first time! 😱
Due to covid-19 concerns, Grammy Awards🏆 were forced to cancel their previously planned awards show in Los Angeles in early January!😮💨
Now, Sin City will play host to the world’s most prestigious music awards show on Sunday, April 3 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.🎆🎆
The show will air live on CBS at 8:00 p.m. ET with Trevor Noah returning as the ceremony’s host.

Ibiza nightclubs are FINALLY to fully re-open again, and it’s happening sooner than expected🥳
Of course, the last 2️⃣ years have hit Ibiza HARD w/ a halt to Nightlife Clubbing!
The Main Festival Season, usually starting around May, has been pushed to start at the end April 2022! 🗓
José Luis Benítez, Manager of the Ibiza Leisure Association, stated that, "All of the island’s major nightlife enterprises are actively working this winter to prepare for the season."
The plan for this year’s season is to go through the month of November, making it the LONGEST festival season in White Isle Island 🏝 history!

the new platform aims to bring together the various strands of the collective's activities, while also offering a place to chat, make new friends and even date online.

English nightclubs to require covid-19 passes for entry under new measures😷
🚨NHS COVID-19 passes will be required for entry into nightclubs in England.
Under newly announced “Plan B” COVID-19 passes will be required due to the rising coronavirus cases.🤷♂️
➡️ From 15th December it will be a legal requirement to show an NHS COVID pass – proving double vaccination or a negative lateral flow/PCR test – to enter clubs across the country.
Prime Minister👨💼Boris Johnson confirmed these new measures on 8th December.❗
These measures will apply to all unseated indoor venues that can hold over 500 people and unseated outdoor venues with more than 4,000 people.🤼.
From Friday 10th December, face masks will also be required for most indoor public venues including cinemas and theatres, but not pubs or restaurants.
These all guidelines come under “Plan B” and its measures will be reviewed “no later” than early January, Johnson said.

Electric Forest 2022 dates are here!🤯🤯
estival organizers announced on November 25 that Electric Forest‘s COVID-19-induced hiatus will formally come to a close on June 23 – 26, 2022.
Writing “a reunion awaits,” Electric Forest coordinators shared A Million Shining Lights – 10 Years of Electric Forest, a short documentary on the festival’s history, in tandem with the 2022 dates.
The Rothbury, Michigan mainstay was originally slated to celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2020, but like other festivals, was postponed due to health concerns related to the COVID-19 health crisis.
A limited number of 2022 wristbands are to be released, with on-sale dates soon to come. Details on the 2022 lineup, shuttles, group camping, and wristband exchange are also pending.
