Andrew Tate, a former professional kickboxer and internet influencer widely known for his misogynistic views, was reportedly arrested and detained in Bucharest, Romania, on Thursday.⠀

Romanian police executed search warrants and arrested four suspects ― two British and two Romanian nationals ― which included Andrew his brother Tristan Tate, for allegedly being part of an organized crime group and a money laundering investigation.⠀
⠀
Tate, a British-U.S. citizen who was earlier this year banned from various social media platforms for expressing misogynistic views and hate speech is expected to remain detained for 24 hours. However, there is a pending request to the Bucharest tribunal for an extension of the arrest warrant to 30 days. ⠀

Pele, in his last stages who was hospitalized at a medical center and was receiving end of life care, died of multiple organ failure as a result of colon cancer. He had undergone treatment for colon cancer since 2021. ⠀⠀

During his lifetime he won a record of three World Cups and became one of the most commanding figures in Sports. He also served as Minister of Sports of Brazil between 1995-1998. ⠀⠀

His daughter Kely Nascimento wrote a beautiful tribute on her Instagram which read “All that we are is thanks to you. We love you endlessly. Rest in peace.”⠀⠀

Austin Wells, a 28-year old employee of Reality Labs, Meta's virtual reality arm, leased a residence on board the luxury MV Narrative. ⠀
⠀
Meta, following huge losses this year, recently announced its plans to shrink its office space and expand work from home orders in an effort to cut costs.⠀
⠀
Wells will be one of the residents of MV Narrative while working remotely, as it sails around the world. Residents will have the opportunity to visit all six continents, spending an average of three days in each port. ⠀
⠀
The MV Narrative will house around 1000 residents and they can expect to enjoy its many benefits like access to medical services, a farmer’s market, private kitchens, an exercise center, a 24-hour room service, a co-working space and a spa.⠀
