Nine years ago, I embarked on my journey in photography, gaining experience through various commercial projects, documentaries, short films, and more, serving as both an Assistant Cameraman and Photographer, as well as a Creative Designer. Today, I am thrilled to announce my debut as an editor for the non-fiction food travelogue series, BhojBaji, available on YouTube.

This milestone would not have been possible without the incredible support of my entire team. I am deeply grateful to my producer and executive producer for placing their trust in me and giving me this opportunity.

A heartfelt thanks goes to Biswanath Dada for his unwavering encouragement, and to Raktim Da for his invaluable guidance throughout this journey. I am also delighted to collaborate with my friend Subhasis, who has brought this project to life as its director.

A Day at Odisha’s Beach

I once visited Odisha, a place just a few hours by train from Kolkata. The beach there was breathtakingly empty, like a blank canvas waiting for life’s touch. The sun dipped low, casting golden hues across the horizon.

As I walked along the shore, I saw a fisherman returning from the sea. His net was heavy with the day’s catch. Waiting for him was his small family—a close-knit group. Maybe they’d sell some of the fish, or perhaps it would become their dinner. Their unity left me in awe. Life, I realized, thrives in these simple connections.

Badga Beach (also known as Dublagadi Beach) taught me something valuable that evening. Its golden light transformed emptiness into fulfillment. I felt connected to nature—the vast ocean, the warmth of family bonds, and the fleeting beauty of existence.

These memories remain treasures in my heart, reminding me of the incredible beauty that surrounds us.

Remembering the chilly explorations in the hills of North Bengal & Sikkim. The winding roads, the breathtaking views and lush green landscapes.

Whenever I travel to the hills of North Bengal & Sikkim I discover new wonders. With its snow-capped peaks, the majestic Kanchenjunga stood proudly against the sky. Sprawling tea gardens covered the hills, infusing the air with the fresh scent of tea leaves.. Charming villages with quaint cottages and friendly people always add a touch of magic to my journey.

I was captivated by the peaceful surroundings—the tranquil mountains, melodic birds, and grand Himalayan range left me in awe.
Each sunrise adorned the sky with breathtaking colours, and each sunset enveloped everything in a golden glow.

Trips to the hills of North Bengal and Sikkim always offered more than just beautiful scenery.
These moments brought reflection, joy, and a deep connection with nature. They are a treasure in my heart, reminding me of the incredible beauty of our world.

While walking on the streets of Esplanade and capturing some moments, I saw a yellow taxi weaving through the bustling streets, and a wave of nostalgia washed over me. These bright yellow cabs are more than just a mode of transport; they are symbols of the city's vibrant culture and rich heritage. Each taxi brings a splash of color and a sense of history to every corner, connecting the past with the present and bringing back memories of simpler times. In their presence, I felt the heartbeat of Kolkata, a city where every ride tells a story and every street holds a memory.
