3 things that help me to get cleaner mix in music production 1.Sidechain compression - creating space for drums especially for kick and snare is like a magic 🪄 I use few milliseconds of some snare click as a ghost trigger with no bus which I send to compressor which is on a bass group. For Leads or vocals which are clashing with a bass, fxs, synths I use multiband sidechain with Lead or vocal as a trigger. 2. Mid/Side EQ - I lowcut sides of my bass or leads around 160-200 hz which removes rumbling of the lows in stereo3.Listening on low volume as low as you can hear the tune 👂- when I lower the volume to almost maximal quietness I hear which sounds are too loud and which are too quiet so I tweak with mixer faders 🎚️ to balance the mix and to hear better the main sounds. Bonus tip: Switching to mono in your DAW or on your audio interface - with that I can discover that for instance my lead is weak in mono and therefore it will be weak in the club so i would use voxengo MSED and boost mids and thanks to that the lead will be more in the face and in the club will sound better Follow me for daily bangers with cool tips 🔥#dj #doubledrop #dnb
