COMING OCTOBER 4th!
Two cosmic forces meet on the new split LP “TENEBROUS INGESTION” — a concept album featuring Japanese death/doom stalwarts ANATOMIA and the return of Los Angeles’ HM2 death metal fiends SOUL DEVOURMENT.

The vinyl pressing will be the first collaboration between death metal devotees SEWER ROT RECORDS and GURGLING GORE and it will come with an exclusive comic book. Each label will have their own exclusive vinyl color variant. All 200 of the records will come housed in a heavy jacket and include the 16-page comic book created by the multi-talented artist Izma - known for his professional work on indie video games, including the 2019 Game Boy game Deadeus (that has since gone on to have 50,000+ downloads).

CD and tape pressings will be handled by Sewer Rot Records.

The cover art was disgustingly illustrated by Nev of the infamous Gruesome Graphx (Cardiac Arrest, Cianide, Molder, Plasmodulated, Solothus, etc.)

It’s Bandcamp Friday and we’ve got the highly anticipated debut by Maimed up for grabs! CDs are in hand and ready to ship, and we’ll have the tapes in before the April 19th release date. Combo deals available!

Maimed are a brutal death metal band composed of members from Necessary Death, Between the Killings, Severed Headshop, and Crypt Rot. Their first full-length album is a gory medieval fantasy concept album with guest appearances from throughout death metal’s history including current and former members of Death, Cryptopsy, Internal Bleeding, Cenotaph, Abnormality, Ripped to Shreds, and many more! The album is sure to be a treat for death metal fans.

DISROTTER RETURN! THIS IS NOT A JOKE!
One of our first Sewer Rot releases was Disrotter's ‘The Retched End’ demo. Four years have passed since then and we’re proud to announce a new EP from Virginia’s deathgrind titans. ‘Restless Death’ features four new songs. We’ve teamed up with our friends at Old Shadows Records in Brazil to bring you this new EP on CD in addition to a Sewer Rot tape press. Both our CD and tape pressings include their demo as bonus tracks.

We’re proud to announce that we’ve teamed up with our friends at Sevared Records to bring you the debut full-length by brutal death metallers Maimed. Maimed is a band featuring members of Necessary Death, Between the Killings, and Crypt Rot that celebrates 90s-style brutal death. “Propagate Onslaught” is a story told over nine tracks set in a fictitious medieval world of death, war, and destiny. The album is the product of years of work intended to celebrate death metal’s rich history. One way of observing this is through the guest appearances on the album, which include prominent figures from death metal’s glory days up through some of the sickest new musicians in the scene.

You can begin your journey now with the opening track streaming through Death Metal Promotion on YouTube. “Herald of Maelstrom”, immerses you in the album’s world and features a guest solo by Takafumi Matsubara of technical grindcore titans Gridlink.

The album will be released on April 19th, 2024.
The CD will be co-released by Sevared Records and Sewer Rot Records and will be distributed worldwide.
Sewer Rot Records will release the album on cassette in North America.
Deathstare Records will release the album on cassette in Europe.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of another from the Sewer Rot family and death metal legend Martin Lacroix. It is often said that there is something in the water in Canada when it comes to their extreme metal, and it is impossible to tell the story of Canadian death metal without mentioning Martin Lacroix. He was the vocalist in Spasme, and we are profoundly glad to have reissued their album and that Martin was happy with it. He was later the vocalist in Cryptopsy, and he did a phenomenal job on their live album. He’s one of the most accomplished tattoo artists anywhere, and many iconic musicians proudly display his works on their skin every time they hit the stage. He also contributed artwork to many legendary bands including Gorguts, Cryptopsy, Beyond Creation, Augury, Vengeful, Akurion, and many more. He brought joy to everyone that knew him and will be deeply missed. His music and artwork will last forever, and all of us at Sewer Rot are thankful for being just a small blip in the legacy that is Martin Lacroix. Rest in peace Martin. Much love from all of us at Sewer Rot to Martin’s family and everyone that has been touched by him all around the world.

The year is coming to a close and we're incredibly proud of all the sick death metal we've put out there including five classic reissues, one legendary band's first new material in over thirty years, and three releases from some of the most exciting up-and-coming bands.
