Kevin Sorbo joins 𝘔𝘪𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘦 Cast.

Kevin Sorbo will appear in the wilderness survival film, 𝘔𝘪𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘦, shooting in the Blue Ridge Mountains in April.

The iconic Hercules star and faith film pioneer will bring the film's most critical character to life. Sorbo said, “I’ve always been a fan of true life stories, especially when faith and family are in the mix. 𝘔𝘪𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘦 reminds us that roadblocks are part of life and that hope, redemption and perseverance can overcome the hardships in life."

Indie filmmaker, Nathan Todd Sims, is directing and wrote the script. "I, like millions of others, have been a long time fan of Kevin Sorbo and am thrilled he is joining us in the wilderness for this adventure!"

The film, based on true events and inspired by John Bunyan's 𝘗𝘪𝘭𝘨𝘳𝘪𝘮'𝘴 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴, follows a struggling family into a mountainous wilderness as they try to reconnect and rebuild their once joyful family. Tragedy strikes and the family begins a fight for survival that challenges everything they know about themselves and their beliefs.

Kevin Sorbo is represented by Exclusive Artists Agency and Endorse Management Group based in Los Angeles.

The Harrowing Film production is being produced by Sims' Fusionflix Entertainment and is planned for a theatrical release in early 2025.

FusionFlix Entertainment is excited to announce the April start of Principal Photography for the wilderness survival film, 𝘔𝘪𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘦.

Nathan Todd Sims will direct the project from his own original screenplay. The story, based on true events and further inspired by John Bunyan's 𝘗𝘪𝘭𝘨𝘳𝘪𝘮'𝘴 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴, follows a struggling family into a mountainous wilderness as they try to reconnect and rebuild their once joyful family. Tragedy strikes and the family begins a fight for survival that challenges everything they know about themselves and their beliefs.

Separated in a vast wilderness,
A family discovers faith is their only hope.

The production itself is another family story. Sims' wife, Gina is producing along with daughter, Naomi, as line producer. Their youngest daughter, Tiffany, is the Unit Production Manager and assistant to the writer/director. Long time collaborator, Stuart Bennett of Lachlan Creative Group, is also producing.

The feature film came together quickly near the beginning of the year. A theatrical release is being targeted by early 2025.
