MERRY CHRISTMAS, GALS! 🎄♥️❄️

For some of us, Christmas can be challenging for different reasons. During these festive times, we miss those that have gone before us and what Christmas mornings used to look like when they were here. Or maybe family issues can be brought up again when we’re around our families or we may be spending the holidays alone.

Whichever it is… know that thousands of years ago there was a humble baby in a manger that came to give us HOPE. 🌟

He is the prophetic promise that came to fulfillment so that we could live a life of FREEDOM and abundance.

We need each other. Often times if we feel resistance in an area of our life, it’s because there’s a freedom on the other side of pushing past that emotion that we need to experience growth.

I used to struggle a lot with relationships, specifically with women. It was difficult to be myself. I was always afraid that I was being judged or looked down on if I didn’t dress or act like everyone else. I made it a habit to think the worst of people and seemingly always felt like they thought the worst of me too.

All of those fears in my mind hindered me from building meaningful relationships, but it’s taken a lot of grit to push past those feelings. Letting our guards down and letting people in has to be a big part of it.

What’s keeping you back from building meaningful relationships? Are you willing to push past those thoughts to build genuine connections with other women? If not, why?

Sometimes it's hard to see the new thing that God is doing in our lives when we are consumed by our past or the anxiety about what our future might look like. Sometimes when our circumstances are difficult, it's hard to see the beauty in the ashes of that really hard thing we're going through. It becomes hard to see that the doors to the prison are actually wide open.

So I encourage you to pause today and choose to place your gaze back on Jesus. It'll become easier to see the wonderful things that God is doing in your life when we refocus back on Him.

You know that "new thing" in Isaiah 43:19 that everyone talks about? And that God promised us? It's here, it's active, and He is always up to something new. Every single morning, there is something new.

It's about perspective & we have the choice to either see beauty or we can choose to see ashes.
