FILMING IN VIETNAM:
A great and inspiring film that we had the pleasure to film for S***a Fujji and KOA, Marubeni Group.
This film follows the dedication and anticipation of the teams from all around the world, all working together to fine tune this giant paper machine. Our team was privileged to be a part of this with the KOA team, to follow their emotional build up and happiness when the machine produces the first paper roll. Spoiler alert - check out from 2:30 to 2:37 secs to see the crowning moment.
And, never take anything for granted. Who would have thought that you need such a huge factory to produce great paper.
All paper is made from recycled cardboard and paper, collected by an army of dedicated Vietnamese people, shipped to Vung Tau and reprocessed using factory based technology, water stations and even their own electrical plant, to reduce their carbon footprint.

FILMING IN VIETNAM:
Check out the 3rd film we shot for Booking com and Booking Explorers with the beautiful Vietnamese top model Chau Bui.
This shoot pushed us to take Remote Filming to a whole new level. What do you do when a country is in absolute lockdown, and nobody is allowed to go in or out of their homes, which means that you can’t get gear or crew into the same room as the person you need to film and the person you want to film can’t get to your crew?
Step 1: take a huge dose of good will, curiosity, humour, and patience from your interviewee, and this was particularly the case with the amazing Chau Bui and her super team, who completely stepped up to the plate on this one.
Step 2: gain the trust of your client and their client and get everyone online to follow the goings on in Saigon from Hanoi, Singapore, London and Lisbon
Step 3: work with a super local team that can think very much outside of the box, to remotely DOP, direct, produce and guide Chau Bui and her team into setting up lights, positioning the camera.
This is one of our favourite shoots of 2021 as the result is excellent. So proud of Nghia and Max from our Vietnamese team, if we could clone you, we would.

Next stop for The Flying Producers, as part of the global Booking com campaign Booking Explorers, was Seoul to meet up with the Korean Alternative Pop Band LEENALCHI to get their thoughts on How Travel and Music Collide.
The genre-bending group shares their favorite travel memories, top tips for experiencing Korean traditional music culture in Seoul and dream music festivals that they hope to play at in the future.
The Booking Explorers campaign is a celebration of the adventurers and trailblazers among us in Asia, as they tell their stories of how they have remained explorers at heart and continue to responsibly experience the best our world (or their backyards) has to offer, despite challenges brought about by the pandemic.

FILMING IN MONACO:
The Flying Producers Monaco team recently worked with a UK crew to capture the luxury and beauty of Monaco. This was a fun, albeit crazy shoot, with a nearly all female team, with the exception of Oscar - thank you Oscar for being their special body guard and for capturing some super additional footage. Despite long days and a heat wave, everyone on set managed to make this shoot fun for all involved.
The final result will be hitting Channel 5 screens in the UK and Ireland in the next couple of weeks.

A great day's filming in an amazing and iconic location, with a group of extremely courageous people who abseiled their way from the gantries of Croke Park to raise money for a very worthy cause, SOS (Su***de or Survive).
SOS is a nationwide Irish charity focussed on breaking down the stigma associated with mental health issues and to building a society where people embrace their mental health issues and those with difficulties are treated with dignity and respect.
A personal Flying Producers project, only made possible thanks to the generosity of Fiona Graham and Paddy McCarney, who kindly offered their time to film this unique event.
