New Episode on Patreon and Apple Subscriptions! Links in bio.
Last month we asked Outsiders on Patreon to leave us voice messages and ask any questions you have. Now, we have all of your recordings on the podcast and our answers! We discuss favorite trails and parks, if we are team Edward or Jacob, what childhood in New England was like and give out some books recs and life updates along with some advice. This was a fun one - thank you to all our Outsiders who participated!

Our NPAD group trip to Acadia National Park has officially been checked off the list✔️ ! A huge thank you to all the amazing people who joined us for this adventure and our guides. We hiked, biked, climbed, camped, and explored the park. The amount of times we bonded over yelling , “look a dog!” was approximately 8472629 times. Never we will ever get over what an amazing community of people that come together for these trips and all the friendships that are made. Until next time! ❤️

Trip Announcement!
We’re launching an August 2025 NPAD to Banff, Yoho, and Jasper National Parks! This was one of our favorite itineraries we did last year.
This trip is different, because we won’t be joining on this one.
As much as we’d love to be there, our schedules next year are too busy to offer many trips or join them. We’ve had so many of you asking for trips and we want to still offer the opportunity for our NPAD community to gather and adventure together. When we posted a poll several months ago, we had a very large response that was interested despite us not being able to join, so we wanted to offer it as an option. 🙂
The best part of having these trips has been watching the friendships that form within our NPAD community, and this Canada Itinerary is a bucket list trip.
We plan to still be very much apart of the trip from afar and will be in communication and video conferences with everyone who joins. There will also be an expert guide with you to show you all the amazing hikes and places to visit. This trip has incredible hikes, whitewater rafting, glacier treks, camping in the Rockies, and more!
We will still be joining our 2025 Antarctica trip and Colorado trip. (Both are currently sold out) and our schedules do not allow us to add on anymore for 2025.
This Canada trip will cost $1989 and include airport transfers, accommodations, activities, and all meals. (Flights not included).
Booking will open on June 17th at 12pm EST/ 9am PST! https://trovatrip.com/trip/north-america/canada/canada-with-npad-community-aug-2025

A Guide on Surviving Quicksand. Zion National Park. Outsiders Only.

We’ve all heard of quicksand, but do you really know what it is, or what to do when you come across it? Finding yourself in this precarious situation might just be a little more common than you think. Today, we tell the story of two hikers who found themselves in this exact scenario whilst in the backcountry of Zion National Park. Then, we give you your own how-to-guide with tools to survive it.

When our beloved Park Rangers accept their positions to protect National Parks, they agree to a code of conduct, upholding them to the highest standards in their job and in their personal lives. Rangers like James Alexander Cary, took this pledge very seriously and did all that he could to preserve the park he was employed to protect. Hot Springs National Park was a lawless area in the 1920’s, filled with illegal moonshining stills and gangsters that had their hands in everyones pockets. Many law officials were corruptible and able to be bought, but not James Alexander Cary. He paid for his dedication to the park with his life.

It’s finally happening!
As you all may have seen, we’ve been pushing hard to make an Antarctica adventure possible, and we did it! We will be heading to Antarctica with March 2025 and we’re inviting you with us!

While we understand this is the most expensive itinerary we have ever had ($12,600 flights not included) it is also one of the most bucket list worthy trips we could think of. This is not just travel, but an expedition!
Travel with us by luxury cruise ship and adventure along side biologists, attending scientific lectures, and working as citizen scientists reporting your own wildlife observations during our travels, and much more!

This trip will be open for booking starting on September 8th at 9am PST / 12pm EST. There are limited spots available.

A 25% deposit is required at booking through trova and you also have the option to set up a payment plan through affirm.

Keep an eye out on our stories and the podcast as we will be posting and talking about all the details more in depth but make sure to check out the trip page with all the itinerary info!

We’re so excited to be able to offer this!
If you have more questions please don’t hesitate to reach out to trova by email at [email protected] they can answer everything 😊
