🚫🔥 New Blog Alert! 🚫🔥
Our founder, just published a thought-provoking new blog post that's challenging a classic camping tradition. Here’s a sneak p*ek:

When you imagine the perfect camping trip, a cozy campfire probably comes to mind. But what if I told you that skipping the campfire could actually be better for both nature and your safety?
In our latest blog, I dive into why the backcountry might be better off without those flickering flames. We’re talking about:

The undeniable beauty of a fire-free camp and how it enhances your connection to nature 🌌

The sobering wildfire statistics and how human-caused fires are a huge issue 🔥

The critical safety considerations: dry conditions, windy weather, and restricted areas 🌬️

The role of wildland firefighters and why minimizing campfires can help them save lives 👩‍🚒

The environmental impact of fires and why they can be more harmful than you think 🌍

Plus, I’ve got some alternatives to a traditional campfire that will still make your camping experience memorable, like using portable stoves, LED lanterns, and indulging in some stargazing 🌟✨

This isn’t just about ditching the fire; it’s about embracing a more responsible and sustainable way to enjoy the great outdoors. So next time you pack for a camping trip, think about leaving those matches at home and explore a new way to connect with nature 🌳💫

Check out the full article on our blog and let me know what you think! Your thoughts and feedback are always appreciated. Let’s blaze a new trail—one that leads to safer, healthier, and more sustainable adventures 🌄🔥

What does women supporting women really mean?

To us, it means celebrating women who are both more experienced than us, and those who are less.

It means being inspired by those who have been climbing the highest mountains for years and those who dare to start for the first time.

It means not gatekeeping, but rather sharing our experiences and knowledge with one another, because there’s room for all of us.

It means recognizing that women can be both typically feminine and masculine-and that there’s beauty and strength in both.

It means encouraging each other to show up authentically, not how you think others expect or want you to show up.

It means having patience when other women aren’t where you’re at, or share other viewpoints.

Women are extraordinary, but we’re even stronger together, which is at the heart of Alpine Sisters.

We’re about community, education, and supporting women in the outdoors, period. Thanks for being apart of this growing community-whether you’ve been here from the beginning, or are brand new, if you identify as a woman or an ally-we’re glad you’re here 🫶🏼

🌿 Embrace Sustainability and Comfort with Reusable Menstrual Cups 🌸 Check out the new article on our blog: www.alpine-sisters.com/blog/embrace-sustainability-and-comfort-the-advantages-of-reusable-menstrual-cups

In a world where sustainability is key, reusable menstrual cups are gaining traction as eco-friendly alternatives to traditional products. Not only do they help reduce waste, but they also offer unparalleled comfort and convenience, especially during outdoor adventures like hiking, camping, and backpacking.

🌍 Environmental Sustainability
Did you know the average person uses 11,000 disposable menstrual products in their lifetime? 😱 Reusable cups made from medical-grade silicone cut down on waste and environmental impact, making them a planet-friendly choice.

💰 Cost-Effectiveness
Say goodbye to monthly tampon and pad expenses 💸 A single menstrual cup can last for years, saving you money in the long run. Invest once, and reap the benefits for cycles to come.

🏞️ Convenience for Outdoor Activities
Heading out for a camping trip? Backpacking through the wilderness? Menstrual cups are your best friend! Their long wear time and leak-proof design make them ideal for extended outdoor adventures. Plus, they leave no trace, allowing you to enjoy nature responsibly.

🏕️For nature lovers, here's a handy tip: use a menstrual cup with a cathole for proper disposal. Dig a hole, empty the cup, cover, and fill the cathole. Voila! Responsible menstruation in the great outdoors

👣 Beginner's Guide
Curious about making the switch? Check out the Environmental section on our blog and learn about some of our favorite brands!⛺

🌸 Embrace sustainability, comfort, and convenience with reusable menstrual cups. Your body and the planet will thank you💚

"🌿 I’m Kiley! I’m a lover of landscapes and little moments, and try to spend as much time outside as possible, hiking, backpacking, swimming, relaxing, reading, and capturing beauty with my camera when I can

🏔 I’ve been a seasonal National Park Ranger for the last four years, working at Yosemite, Rocky Mountain, and Glacier National Parks in the summer, and odd jobs (farmer, wildlife tech, ski resort, outdoor retail) during the winter

🏔️ I fall in love a little bit with every natural place I work

🌼Paintbrush wildlflowers, alpine lakes, whitebark pine trees and snow capped mountains are my happy place

🌲I received my bachelor’s degree in Conservation Biology, and i use it everyday as a naturalist, Identifying trees, plants, flowers, birds, moss and more on the job and off the job!

🏔️I dream of hiking the pacific crest trail!

✨ Topophilia means “a strong sense of place, a love for peculiar places; a sense of home.” It reflects my desire to connect myself and others to the breathtaking spaces where I work, and to help guide people towards a deeper appreciation for our remarkable natural world

☀️I’m super interested in combining science communication and art and still trying to figure it out

🌾 my hope here is to share stories and connect with others in mutual respect for nature and our environment - for the winged and the furry, the grass and the bark, the petals and pine needles

🌲If you go on a hike with me I will try and identify every tree and bird

🐻Bears are cool and I’ve worked a lot with bear education and bear safety

nice to “meet” you!

do we have anything in common?"
