Duplicate reel for non-instagram peeps. Sorry- no sound. Infusing comfrey in oil.
Since ancient times comfrey has been used for aiding in the healing of bones, wounds and skin ailments as well as used to ease arthritis.
I use my comfrey oil in an all purpose skin salve in combination with plantain, calendula and yarrow.
It can also be used as a massage oil for troublesome joints.
Avoid if pregnant. Do not use internally.

Use rose glycerite four different ways:
1. As a gentle anti-depressant.
2. As an anti- spasmodic to relax cramping.
3. As a mild fever reducer.
4. Add to homemade lotions or creams
Glycerites will be very sweet. Take 2 tsp. as needed up to three times a day, straight from the spoon or in your favorite herbal tea.
Rose is very mild, combined into an alcohol-free glycerite, it is perfect for children.
Rose is known to be a mild nervine, antispasmodic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, cooling, calming and when used topically... skin softening.
Use honey as an alternative to glycerin if desired.

Tuesday's Beauty dose:
Butterflies at Frederick Meijer Gardens, Grand Rapids.
It's an annual exhibit from March -April, held in their tropical hothouse. Perfect for us "tired of cold weather" Michiganders.
Did you know that butterflies, in fairy lore, are messengers between worlds?
Dark winged varieties carry heavy news and light winged types carry the brighter news. #faeriecore
My favorites are the bright blues. They flit to anything/one of the same color.
My daughter had a similar shade of shirt on and they loved being by her.
A lot of the visitors wear bright colors and floral in hopes of attracting butterflies to them, but it was definitely light blue that won the day we visited.
Are you a lover of these miraculous and dainty creatures?
If you want more around, here are some plants that attract butterflies: #butterflygarden
