Hoshigaki (dried persimmon) are the most delicious dried fruits I’ve ever had and are certainly worth the effort. Thank you to and for another great workshop preparing hachiya persimmons for hoshigaki and using the juice to dye fabric and make vinegar WOW HOW COOL 🤯 We have lots of these trees in California mainly because Japanese and Asian Americans planted them. I’ll be massaging these tenderly over the next month or so and then they will be ready to devour 😈
