Dear players,

We are currently encountering several waves of DDoS attacks against our systems that are causing players to disconnect. Our team immediately takes action and starts working closely with local service providers to resolve the issue. We aim to bring back normal gaming experience toour players as soon as possible.

On this announcement, we also would like to inform you that a new anti-cheat patch will be released soon. In the meantime, we have deployed more security team members to put a serious stop to cheaters. Like our players, we have always had a zero-tolerance policy against cheating and hacking.

Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday reserved verdict on a petition against ban on online multiplayer game PUBG.

During the hearing, Justice Amir Farooq remarked that Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) should have sought opinion of psychologists on effects of the game. He also asked PTA about the clause they used to impose ban on the game.

Lawyer of PTA told the court that ban on the game was imposed due to some indecent scenes and material against Islam.

Responding to statement of counsel of the PTA, the court remarked that PTA should impose a ban on all games and other material by using this argument.

پاکستان ٹیلی کمیونیکیشن اتھارٹی (پی ٹی اے) کی جانب سے معاشرے کے مختلف طبقات کی طرف سے آن لائن گیم پلیئرز ان نون بیٹل گراؤنڈز (پب جی) کے خلاف متعدد شکایات کو مد نظر رکھتے ہوئے گیم پر عارضی طور پر پابندی عائد کرنے کا فیصلہ کر لیا گیا ہے۔

پی ٹی اے کو ”پب جی“ کے حوالے سے متعدد شکایا ت موصول ہوئیں جن کے مطابق یہ گیم وقت کے ضیاع اور عادی بنانے کے ساتھ ساتھ بچوں کی جسمانی اور ذہنی صحت پر بھی اس کھیل کے انتہائی منفی اثرات مرتب ہو رہے ہیں۔

حالیہ میڈیا رپورٹس کے مطابق ”پب جی“ گیم سے منسوب خودکشی کے معاملات بھی سامنے آئے ہیں۔
اس ضمن میں لاہور ہائیکورٹ نے پی ٹی اے کو بھی ہدایت کی ہے کہ وہ اس معاملے کو دیکھیں اور شکایت کرنے والوں کی سماعت کے بعد اس معاملے کا فیصلہ کریں۔ اس سلسلے میں، 9 جولائی 2020 کو سماعت کی جارہی ہے۔

پی ٹی اے کا کہنا ہے کہ اس سلسلے میں عوام کی حوصلہ افزائی کی جاتی ہے کہ وہ 10 جولائی 2020 تک [email protected] پر ای میل کے ذریعے اپنی رائے فراہم کریں
