We got very lucky today!! These not so little ice cubes started falling out of the sky and the van had no where to go. Thank goodness the storm passed as quickly as it arrived!!
Poor Whyatt had a really bad tummy day yesterday. Inflammation in his body took him down. We took our school work into the pool and the water did it's work:) While relaxing I managed to get some information through to him 💕
My parents found a Brahmaan in love with music & carrots on their last camp:)
Perfect way to end our 1st day. The moon was amazing!!
A boy gotta have his games after a long day of exploring the beach:)
Only in Oz!!! Dad enjoying a cold one with the locals😂
Oh dear what a day.. can see he's not feeling 100%
Working on spelling using the dictionary... in tears... "my brain hurts mum!!!!"
Lol my answer... "That's called thinking"
Biltong & Dry Wors @ Kilkivan Butcher!! Married to a South African girl Jason has learned to find my favourite treats even in the remote little Towns:)
Honestly you do not get better service from your caravan dealer than this. While camping with the Sunrise Caravan Group at Kilkivan the owner Steve made a "house" call for a minor issue we had, all sorted within minutes 🙂
Sunrise Caravan's Burpengary truly goes above and beyond:)

Our poor big boy ended up in hospital today. Started throwing up during the night and just kept going backwards during the day. We spent hour and half in the vet driveway, with him in the boot. Had to rule out parvo when the bloods finally came back and they decided he has to be admitted. He's so miserable today poor bud. See you tomorrow my bud ###
I'm semi retiring from my Charity Helping Hands this week:) Next week will be spend on more training towards our online business in High Ticket sales.. working towards educating others into a new lifestyle away from the normal 9 to 5!! Relaxing with our babies this afternoon looking forward to a beautiful future:)
While the van is in for a few upgrades we grabbed the chance for some much needed adult time:) Caravan show in Brisbane was massive!! Topped off by a Safari Tent stay over at Sandstone Point... magic!!!

Life as an Amputee....
Yamba Shores Tavern - An absolute must:) Beautiful water views and a bonus of walking down the little pier and feeding the fish. Had a great time with our daughter Skye for her Birthday
Woolgoolga Look Out - quick break for lunch today with a view to die for!!!
Humble moment to be named one of the 50 most inspirational women on the Western Downs. So much love and dedication has gone into the last 9 years of my life, with a team of the most amazing volunteers behind me at Helping Hands Dalby.
When you find them outside like this... Pondering the next camping trip???
In between our travels I work 3 days a week and homeschool 4 days a week.... while Pirate (Jason ) works 7 days a week. This was today's post on our homeschooling FB group....
Lol when it's post day and mum ordered your new YR 6 English book!! Hehehe I did my happy dance all excited about the arrival. Mister... not so much, took off and left me at the postbox 😂🤭
Perfect day out at Bribie Island. Unfortunately lots of bluebottles around so no dip in the ocean. Still got our feet wet though!!
Will be coming back for a longer stay as we definitely want to do the 4x4 beach drive.
Clean up time after the last camp

Although we couldn't camp for Easter this year, Dad still made it home in between night shifts for a quick hello and presenting our young man with his first bike for his bday:)

Goondiwindi Holiday Park We spent 3 days here, campgrounds was beautiful and quiet. Unfortunately the pool and spa wasn't what we expected. If you're not fussed about that then it's a good place to stop over. Campsites: Powered and unpowered sites. Access to water. Large sites with easy access. Well maintained. $36 per night Camp kitchens were very basic and a bit dated Amenities: Dated but clean. Each block had individual rooms with toilet and shower. Activities: Pool - water was very murky and just got worse by the day. Spa is closed (unfortunately it was filled with green horrible looking water, not save for little ones as it wasn't properly blocked off so always the fear of them falling into that water) Small playpark at the back of the park. Fenced off dog park was a bonus for those with pets. https://www.goondiwindiholidaypark.com.au/
Inginia Holidays Rivershore Qld An absolute must for those times you just want to splurge a little and enjoy all this park has to offer for families.... Campsites: Powered sites range from $139 to $162 per night with 2 nights minimum stay. All sites are large and have ample space. We managed to fit the ute comfortably next to the van with space to spare Amenities: Beautiful, clean and well-maintained. We particularly loved the thought put into the disabled showers. Spacious with extra shelving provided for leaving your clothes and toiletries. Jason was able to manoeuvre in there safely. The laundry was a nice surprise with coin-operated games inside. Activities: Waterslides and pool.... wow moment here... Open till 7 at night with nonstop fun on those slides!! Mini golf, jumping pillow, pedal car rentals and play park. What more would you need:) Kids are entertaining themselves!! Sit back in a pergola and order a drink from the bar right there using your phone:)😉 Jetty with ample space for fishing!! Driftwood Restaurant Cafe Bar: Absolute bonus having access to hot meals for those nights/days you just don't feel like cooking. Amazing food with options to cater for kids like our little man with allergies. GF and DF options are available. Live entertainment on some nights, which we thoroughly enjoyed. https://www.ingeniaholidays.com.au/our-parks/queensland/sunshine-coast/rivershore
Jason works away most of the time, busy earning to support our dream of travelling OZ... I have found my own passions in life to keep busy:) Mother... Grandmother... Business Woman... Teacher.... Farmlife .... Immigrant I run a successful Charity (Helping Hands Outreach Project for Dalby Inc) while homeschooling our 10 year old. Oz is my 3rd Country in 20 years and definitely the last. Proud to call it home xx
Our journey will be starting soon. My husband Jason is an amputee and lost his leg at age 19 due to cancer. He is our rock and inspiration. There's nothing that he can't do, follow our life around OZ and we hope to show the world that you can still live a full and amazing life as an amputee!!
