We partnered with VEO on this amazing project. Football star Kevin deBruyne has been running the premier youth tournament The KDB Cup for several years now with the likes of Barcelona, Man City, Bayern Munich, PSG and all sending youth teams to take part in a competitive competition to bring through the future stars of the game. But to top it off, we also had exclusive access to the main man, for a masterclass in tactics and modern day football - think about having an evening with Michael Jordan, Michael Johnson or Lennox Lewis to break down the detail and genius of their sport.
What really is Cultural Appropriation?
Theft is nothing new. Even when it comes to culture. But mimicking, isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Stealing isn’t gonna work when it comes to culture - it just means too much to people - as it should.
Black people have influenced and to a large extend created large and significant parts of popular culture - which has actually heavily the influenced commercial the and corporate world.

We produced this brilliant piece of content with Kick It Out in 2022 about power, influence and agency in Football amongst Black people.
Playing the game is much less of a challenge now for Black people. But running the game from an administrative and decision-making perspective is still difficult.
But change is coming.
