I know this year has been so hard, but you are the strongest mommy I know. I don’t know where I would even be without you, and I know how sad you are that you won’t be able to see me walk at graduation but just know that every step I take on that stage is for you and it always has been because I am you and you are me. Now you are recovering and waiting for a long journey ahead but you will get through this because we are your daughters, and when we were little (even now), you held us every time we crashed, cried, laughed- and we will do the same for you each and everytime. I’m so excited to finally share a part of my senior thesis. I have been working on this all year along. My entire project consists of 4 parts ~ Polaroids, individual portraits, a live map, and a virtual reality.

For my fibers final this semester, I did a clothing + tote bag collection made of pre-owned clothing that I hadn’t touched in years but was too attached to give away, paired with a personalized website that speaks on what we can do as individuals to limit our carbon footprint in fashion and how with alittle bit of creativity we can create new pieces for ourselves without doing more harm to our planet. Lots of sleepless nights, sewing, mistakes and coding but I’m v proud of this one,

Every single article of clothing was repurposed in one way or another, leaving no pieces behind,

designed, styled, and shot on Polaroid and 120 mm film by yours truly ~
