Why the heck would I pay for someone to hang Holiday lights for me?

That’s something I have seriously had to ask myself as we prep for the season to come. Because quite honestly if I wouldn’t invest in this service than neither should you.

But here’s the no BS honest benefits…

I straight up DON’T HAVE TIME to worry about Christmas Decorations or decorating in general so…
#1 SAVES TIME- which is even more valuable during the Holidays

#2 PROVIDES A SENSE OF PEACE WHEN PARTY PLANNING. I hate to say it but Hostessing a big party makes me panic.
Having my place professionally decorated would definitely put me at ease. One HUGE thing to check off the list!

#3 UM- I can use the EXACT same lights for ALL 4 HOLIDAYS coming up.
If I get white lights and throw in some Holiday favorites I can would have decorating finished for HALLOWEEN, THANKSGIVING, CHRISTMAS & NEW YEARS!

That’s 4 Holiday Seasons right in a row that I could use the exact same lights for.

#4 - I would NOT have to untangle, plug in ,unplug, take 59 trips to Walmart, climb up in the attic, get on a ladder or a roof …
I could just point to where I want my light hung.

#5 - if they break, go out, storm hits or need maintenance- I call a phone number for it to be fixed and it’s already paid for.

I have more but this post is already super long! Maybe I will do a part #2!

Good morning! Pastor Chris here...

I am writing to our Facebook friends to update you on the needs we have this week for our renovations.

Simply put, we need about $13,000 to complete the the work by May 1st. We have been diligent with staying on schedule, but to do so means making sure we take care of our responsibilities with contractor invoices.

This week alone, we are looking at:

- $3250 for plumbing (restroom expansion)
- $1250 for concrete cutting
- $1500-$2500 in drywall work (two weeks worth)
- $6000 for HVAC work (air handler and ducts moved, setup, and serviced)

Much of the work has been has been done with our members and volunteers. We've also had great support from the building owner with $25,000 worth of construction supplies provided for us. But these items require us to use outside professionals to complete in time.

What God has done this year alone so far has been amazing! And our team has worked evenings and weekends to help make it happen. But we are now in the home stretch and need your help.

We've had a passage that speaks to this precious season we're in, in that what seems like has taken forever, will come (and it will be awesome!).

"For still the vision awaits its appointed time;
it hastens to the end—it will not lie.
If it seems slow, wait for it;
it will surely come; it will not delay." Habbakuk 2:3

He will do it! One way or another. I believe it and so do our people.

Today, I am asking that you partner with us in prayer. God has carried us this far and with just over a month left to go, we know He isn't done yet. Pray that He will meet these needs this week and we can continue what He started.

I would also ask that you prayerfully consider how much God would have you give towards this work. We need your financial partnership this season more than ever!

Our Ministry Center will be a hub of activity that will host our worship services, workshops, and conferences. It will provide a beautiful space to equip people for reaching lost, hurting, and broken people here in the Grand Strand and beyond.

God has been so good to us and we're excited for what our future looks like as a life-giving church serving Myrtle Beach. We will have pulled off a $250,000+ renovation project for under $60,000! He has made a way for us and we know the best is yet to come.
