The beekeeper forgot to insert the frames in the hive in which the bees collect the honey. The hardworking insects then built their own architecture from the honeycomb so that the air can flow freely and maintain a stable temperature🐝

Scottish actress Elaine Smith turns 61 today.

Born in Ayrshire, she was part of the original Neighbours lineup when the soap opera premiered in 1985.

Smith played the part of Daphne for three years and continued acting until the mid-noughties, eventually becoming a drama teacher in Sydney.

In this December 1988 photograph of the Neighbours cast, Smith is pictured on the far left.

Fun Fact
The term "dubbing" came from doubling either the Vitaphone sound disc to synchronize sound with a motion picture or from doubling an actor's voice to films in the beginnings of the sound era. Dubbing as we know it is generally reckoned to have started around 1930. The film generally credited with pioneering sound mixing is Rouben Mamoulian's Applause. Mamoulian experimented with editing all the sound on two interlocked 35mm tracks which was really the beginning of standard film tracklaying/dubbing practice.
