Lang Syne 🎶I wish 2bid goodbye 2the years gone by singing!I resolved 2start d new year with a new breath & let d past memories fade away with elapsed time 2their death!I personally feel:One shld, ‘Know their worth,otherwise some1 else will tell them what it is!’
That’s why I’m proclaiming:I’m done with “The Seat At D Table!”
Let’s just “Dismantle The Whole Table!”
Be it in any aspect of life:‘Etre bien dans sa peau’(feel good about 1self) & make it as 1’s own ‘Mode de vie’(lifestyle).Find 1’s voice & I feel 1 can only then find themselves.Any dress can be under dressed/can be made as elevated essentials/ just go big-no red is 2sassy/sensual/less classy-it is a just a color- if 1 loves it wear it;as I hv considered I will go b “Me!”
Im flaunting 2mixed androgynous fashion trends but they somehow look like they are in unison.90’s grunge rocker &pocketing the pockets with cargo pants.1 doesn’t need d purveyor of pristine 2distress hems 4it2b grunge 4spring.Straight 4m fashion trends 2wearable fashion/street fashion & some caution.Early bird gets the compliment,C‘est parti! (here we go):Flutternutter & a peanut-butter-&-marshmallow sandwich.Which is 2say,they are d same thing but by a different name.However,that’s not actually correct.Most confuse flannel, plaid & checkered:Flannel is fabric,plaid &checks are patterns.Im wearing a with however(Scottish way of describing the shirt) pattern:Robertson red medium modern tartan plaid.Remember all tartans are plaids & not vice versa.The raised fibers of the flannel in spring allows it 2more easily trap heat,making it a naturally insulating fabric.
Experiment a little on d pattern as the size of the boxes shld suit d body.Large boxes don’t look 2good on everybody
Ofcourse,d is in for 2023, which sets d stage 4d return of d cargo pants.Can doing life's mundanities,such as going 2d grocery store/running errands,b luxurious,2?Consider this an elevated everyday dressing

Live, love & laugh & glam, gleam & beam & this mash-up of joyful clothing is an antidote & what I address it as is dopamine dressing.
Disclaimer but bitter truth:Most of us are practicing emotional avoidance &calling it “Positive Mindset!”
It’s a late post though but: Hv I lost tht sparkle of bewilderment of a kid?This children’s day,I didn’t post any pics about my childhood nah,this kid adult is all about excitement even when I am going through something;I’m growing through it!
Pliability,hope,release,energy &life force is slowly trickling down not just in most of us but in fashion industry too.The re-emergence hasn’t dampened fashion’s enthusiasm as I call it: they are out with “High voltage -out out”in fashion world & it’s eclecticism redefined.The subtle slicing away of fabric from demure silhouettes is a considered, grown-up way of playing into the idea.
Embrace the kid in you & see the world with new light.“Being Alive” is the best gift & not all experience it but kids.Im in a feeling abt wanting 2b in the world again,mood 4sharing with other people.
The modern glitter beauty elements:Glitz all the way braid to body to eyes,bedazzled makeup has gone mainstream.Gemstones, sequins,crystals,metallics & diamanté coming in at every possible angle not just to create a stunning makeup look.
These are being picked directly from runway glam but I chose slightly toned-down &wearable version.Can some of us wear it? Before anybody goes harsh on themselves; my darlings,one can damn well wear anything one wants!
Glittery eyeshadows I hv worn are draped with rhinestone in the make up & accessory.Sparkling top, footwear to match with or one can just inject small doses of the look with sling glitter bag.I went all in, head to toe glitter & gleam!
But,I do understand if somebody’s urge to hibernate has not yet subsided.Most of us can shrug,& intone, for the millionth time, state“Unprecedented times”.But my advice wld b precursor to clicking “Add 2basket” atleast wish list it.Think &thank me latter.Colour therapy works;switch over 2bold colours &see the difference.All I want my insta family is 2celebrate the light of sparkles & dance the worries away 4mwhere ever/however

There’s no Cap on Capes! Men and women have added feathers to the cape which are not just meant for fictitious superheroes!

A cape is an envelope that protects the body; a surprising element that can hide everything & reveal slivers of skin just to entice! The dreamy silhouette of these cape sleeves can elevate any look. Nowadays our leading ladies of Bollywood are also trying to create Indo fusion looks by wearing outfits like cape gowns, sarees,cape blazers to give contemporary touch to their ethnic look. Take the floor with monochrome - In a world with no simple answers/even straightforward questions,I hv predilection for black. Breathe out! Trapped in micro apartments with floaty maxi dresses.It can be adorned to simple mehandi function at a cousin’s place or to confer on the wearer a glamorous cocktails-on-the-terrace – even if the only foreseeable sundowner is a mojito in a tin on a high-rise city balcony.
The ambience I was in called for a regal look at-least by accessorising the cape sleeved gown - I wore body-con jewelry with waist belt with ear cuffs to complete the look!
If dress is plain, embellish it with stunning pieces of jewelry to glisten under the spotlights.

Spirit of over the top whimsy - d Why Not?” infuses every line of my virtual fashionable universe.A fashionista offering fantastical, fashionable possibilities.I’m nt dressed,I’m doubly dressed 2express & emote!
Embracing proudly “Month of Pride” & sending love 2everyone in d community of LGBTQIA 💜. I hv always heard tht there is always this duress it’s just like a storm in a teacup,relax lovelies. Coming out of closet is not as important as loving & accepting oneself first! Let’s assume we hv an egg if we force it open it breaks but if we wait it out & it breaks it 4m inside out- d life form emerges. Love is love, we all hv rights & I knw d stonewalling,turmoil, stigma & unspeakable obloquy in d face of love. It’s now time 2rejoice with d spectrum of rainbow colours tht clears d foggy minds 2outshine!
Erstwhile even a visible strap was shunned upon how far & liberating it is…ask d women! Recent fashion trends hv seen d bralette making a comeback with a sexy, modern make-over. Fast forwarding back 2my fashion it's a look that's only gaining momentum, & although it might nt b considered a "mainstream" trend, it's certainly that's providing hard 2ignore,on both d high-end &high street shopping circuits.If showing some skin,is refreshing 2hear, peeps tht isn't the only way 2channel this versatile look—especially after being largely confined 2our homes in 2020, during which we've played it somewhat sartorially safe - I’ll show u few for certain!To stand out in any crowd with a bold & edgy fashion statement,wear a bralette with a jacket/blazer.Fair warning! this fierce look focuses the eyes on d undergarment so 1needs 2define comfort level.I created a feisty Iook used white satin oversized blazer with black satin plunge bralette accentuated look & matched my accessories with d silver rings of the bralette & a mini bag (come back of reticule) to match d outfit.Carrying a mini bag enables mobility & feels liberating; less 2carry, less 2worry about.Is this fashion’s way of telling us we shld stop carrying so much stuff? @ India

Sugar & spice more like me; nah don’t dunk in to drunk tank pink. I cropped out; let light in, suited up & didn’t cop out to add more dash of Color!
One of the major trend alert: This wardrobe staple is going & growing strong since 2020. The trend is here to stay in 2021 as well! The cropped blazer is runway favourite & street style friendly too.
There are many ways cropped blazers can be styled and many kinds of cropped blazers are out there! As always I’ll keep treating my family with more stylish & chic ones in future too!
Candy or bubblegum pink a pastel toned textured cropped out blazer is paired with black high waist baggy jeans. Baggy jeans also have been taking over in the street style fashion era. What better way to mix & match them both??
Most loved my choice of lip colors - I added different palette shades of pink on my lip & played with light to showcase only lipstick & light can up the game of styling in the same piece of clothing. Unexpected forces how one shapes &thinks,feels & behaves - colour is one of them; pink has its own ambiguous side of psychology of colour. But right now I’ll love to consider it as sweet side of red hue. The color of universal love of oneself and of others, friendship, affection,inner peace & harmony. It’s the need of the hour; more than ever
