I guess most of the fur parents out there started their journey with a puppy. Our family started it with a 9 year old senior Lhasa Apso, Victor, the poppa dog of Piper. 🐶 We sure had a lots of new experiences before, especially during the first few weeks of our senior dog at home. My mom had to research articles and watch videos on how to take care of an indoor dog, their diet, things they love to do and more about their breed. A few months after, we adopted a new dog named Maya, an adorable and sweet Bichon Frise. Again, it was a new experience for me and the family! ❤️🐶

I just hope that I we had a more convenient way on how to take care of dogs without relying too much on the internet and frequent visits to the vet because of the challenges we experienced; from taking care of a pregnant dog, assisting her when she gave birth, witnessing Maya experiencing milk fever (we had to bottle feed each puppy for a time for a few weeks until Maya recovered), cleaning up after the puppies` mess, potty training the pups, introducing solid food to them, their teething, their vet visits and shots, until they all got adopted. Phew! A lot of things to do right?! But nonetheless, having small indoor dogs is pure joy! 💛 They're not just pets, they're family!
