Announcement from Axie Infinity's Jihoz:

"In ~24 hours we will increase the AXS portion of the breeding fee to 4 AXS.

This decision was made to:

- Ensure Axie population growth remains healthy.
- Create additional utility for AXS.

The Axie population has grown by 40,000/day recently. If we aren't careful, Axie population could over-inflate and reduce the special feeling of owning an Axie while harming our economy.

Sustainability & stability are very important to our revolution.

Long term Axie population management relies on:

• Adding additional utility to Axies through new experiences such as land, mini-games. This also adds utility to Axies beyond their effectiveness in fleeting metas. ��
• Adding vertical, rather than purely horizontal progression. Right now in order to progress the main path that people take is by expanding the size of their collection. This dynamic is not optimal long term. In the long run there will be upgrades to both Axies AND Land that will require crafting ingredients. Axies themselves may be “released” to obtain these crafting ingredients. This creates a long term supply sink to the Axie population. Axie progression is coming in the future; and it promises to create a much stronger bond between trainers and the Axies they choose to upgrade.��

Increasing the breeding fee is a temporary solution until we can add these mechanisms. Thank you!

Super struggling ako sa arena. From 1420 MMR to 1270 todaaaaay. Hahahaha. Is it just me na medyo hilo? Or I really need to step up my game. I will try to learn more strategies and be more careful choosing what cards to use. Especially, when or when not to skip turns. Hahahaha. Go lang! Laban! We do not always win. Di man tayo nakarami ng SLP today, nakarami naman tayo ng experience as a player sa Axie Infinity. Yown lang. See you guys tomorrow!
