8 years of waiting/making, sumubok mag apply international pero walang tumatanggap, apply ulit sa interisland, sa 8yrs na try and try sabi ko parang hindi ata talaga para sakin ang pagseseaman. Almost gave up but here I am now kaka onboard lang nung April 29,2023. Isa lang masasabi ko,

Russia -Ukraine War: with 11 Filipino Crew onboard, Turkish ship Yasa Jupiter hit by bomb off Ukraine’s Odessa.

In the Black Sea, a bomb hit the Marshall Islands-flagged Turkish ship Yasa Jupiter, en route from Odessa to Romania. Informs Turkish edition of NTV on 24 February.

There were no reports of casualties in the incident.

“According to the information received, the ship was struck 50 miles south of Odessa. It continued moving towards Romania,” the Turkish Main Directorate of Maritime Affairs quoted the publication as saying.

Law of attraction does really exist. Year 2015, graduating high school I posted on my Instagram a picture of sea from shore, hoping and dreaming that one day, ill become a seafarer. Year 2020, I joined the vessel for the very first time. An international sea going vessel. If you are reading this, dont stop dreaming. Rest if you must, but dont you quit! HOW BIG IS A VLCC? (Very Large Crude oil Carrier) This vessel has an Length Over-All of 333 meters. I walked from forward to accommodation and it took me around 4 minutes. If you are wondering how is it like working on a VLCC. Time yourself as you walk so you can have an idea of the size of this vessel. Remember that you will be walking on steel and that there is no shade against sunlight so better bring all the stuff you need before going. 😁 Watch the entire video to feel the view of seafarers at work.
