Hands up if you’ve ever heard of a Quinceañera or have ever been to one? I always dreamed of my party growing up and I’m still so thankful I got to have one. What 15 year old girl doesn’t want to feel like an absolute princess on her birthday?
One of the reasons I started making Latin specific cards was because of a Quinceañera. I couldn’t locally source a card for my niece’s party or anything written in Spanish for that matter, so I decided to create my own line.
Since creating and selling designs that represent our culture and traditions, I’ve been most amazed by the conversation’s they spark. I’m also so proud to create the representation that was so hard to find growing up as a Latin kid in Canada.

It’s been a weird week.
It’s the ups and downs of owning a small business while raising littles and still trying to take care of yourself. It’s a lot.
And just when you least expect it (but need it the most) someone special drops off a bouquet of flowers just to tell you how proud of you they are 🥹 I don’t know how I’d do this all without the people I have in my corner.
So now I’m here to tell you a few things:
I’m SO PROUD of all the things you are doing. But especially those small things, the behind the scenes things that no one else sees. The unglamorous tasks that take so much brain power. You know the ones. I’m so proud that you’re doing it.
Also, it’s okay to step away from all the things to take time for yourself. In fact- PLEASE do it. Go outside. Enjoy the sunshine. Your emails and tasks can wait and you owe it to yourself to take a break.
Go easy on yourself today. You’re doing great 🩷💐
