MOSES NA HUMAN BEING

Studying Moses in the bible has made me see him, his character and how he could speak to us today.

Moses was never scared to express his humanity. He knew God wasn’t seeking for perfection so he showed up flawed and all.

He expressed to God when he felt inadequate, worried and confused. I mean, Moses was dealing with an identity crisis. One minute he was an Egyptian the next a Hebrew. The man was dealing with a lot.

He asked for proof, yes, (Daddy Moses sha stress God) but one thing I know for certain, through his story, is that God can be stretched.

Another astonishing thing about Moses was his humility and his ability to discern whom to receive counsel from.

He had alot of respect for his father-in-law, Jethro, and he recognized that God may be in heaven but he left mentors on earth.

We need to seek wisdom and counsel from the right source and with the internet running wild it’s a good thing we have bibles, parents, mentors and spiritual leaders.

Growing up I was an absolute Disney princess I loved “suit life on deck” “ Hannah Montana “ “ wizards of wavery places “ I mean, you name it .

Then there was “lemonade mouth” the film that brought this phrase to me “when life throws you lemons you make lemonades”. I made a pact with myself to make the best out of every bad situation.

Recently a friend asked me how I handle regret. I told him I barely regret. This is not because it sounds good or perfect; it is just my truth. Pain is a teacher and pain is the pathway to success.

Who would agree with me that we learn the most from our most difficult experiences? So I urge us not to focus on the negative aspects of our most difficult experience, rather see them for what they truly are: OUR GREATEST TEACHERS!

Self love to me is being intentional with the people who I let in my space . I have seen the effect of negative energy and how draining it can be .

I KNOW SOMETHING YOU DONT

I know it all 🤨lol I know what you are thinking . “Who does she think she is saying that “ okay ,okay , don’t come for my jugular I may not know it all but I know one thing for sure.

When you seek knowledge it welcomes you with open arms .

Growing up English was one of my greatest fascinations .

Heck I loved it so much I studied it . At a very young age I made statements like “mummy this Kyuleke (maize )is the owner of who “😂hey don’t blame me , blame it on my zeal to know .

After a while it moved from a fascination to just a language I enjoyed .

One of the many reasons I started a podcas ,was to have insightful conversations that fed my mind .

And every episode I take my listeners on this journey of learning about the world around them and how it influences their lives and choices .

On the flip side, to be full from this cup of knowledge we can’t afford to assume .

If we do , then the Cup is full of assumptions and there is no space for knowledge.
I recently came across this interview with Trevor Noah and Jay shetty , he said he enjoys walking into a conversation completely blank .

This way ,he is slow to speak and eager to listen . He doesn’t only understand what the other party is saying but he understands their perspective .

I've always prioritized guarding my mind, recognizing that mistakes are inevitable, but each one offers a valuable learning opportunity. Life is a continuous journey of decisions, and acknowledging imperfection is essential.

The internet is flooded with a myriad of information, ranging from truths to falsehoods. Amidst projections of insecurities, expressions of pain, and voices fueled by fear, there are those emanating from experience and wisdom. In navigating this digital landscape, we must become gatekeepers of our minds, filtering through the noise to discern the valuable insights from the irrelevant.

Recently, I encountered the profound teachings of Joe Dispenza, a speaker delving into the psychology of the mind. His insights emphasize the importance of having our minds work for us rather than against us. Merely dwelling on problems activates the stress response, leading to emotional drainage. This, in turn, often drives us towards external distractions like phones, television, books, relationships, substances, and more. I've realized that relying on external factors makes us dependent, diluting our ability to harness our inner strength.

Now, you might be asking, "What steps can I take?" In my journey, I've found solace in sitting with thoughts that bring joy—visions of my aspirations, knowing they align with divine promises. When you focus on these uplifting thoughts, you break free from external dependencies. Whether it's that specific thought or something even grander, nothing surpasses the sustainability found in the hope of divine promises unfolding in your life.

One of the most fascinating things about self awareness is the realization, that almost every action or behavior connects to an experience or a person .

Some time last year I discussed self awareness with the delectable on smalltalk with mullah the podcast and we shared stories , experience and people that influenced our journey positively .

I have never felt so seen and appreciated . I see me , I appreciate me , I have allot of respect for my self it’s amazing and interesting. A friend shared to me on how growing up in a matriarchal community influenced his actions . And how difficult it was blending in. I was stunned at how aware he was . It felt to me like being aware meant nobody got to introduce you to yourself .
