Earlier today I left a composting pail for you and the fam. I hope you can use it.

On another matter, we know EVERYTHING is goin up in price but I need your consideration when it comes to our utilities.
I have enclosed photos of the recent utility bill and this does not include gas (which as you have read is sky high)

I will respectfully ask that you pay a little more attention to your consumption. That is difficult for all of us I understand, but take some time to figure out how you can help.
Less clothes washing, less of the portable heaters, less of wherever you think will make a difference.

The recent water damage flipped my financial situation and put me totally under water (pun intended 🙃)
A $1000 dollar utility bill was not in my plans. So if you can help it will be appreciated.

Kev is on the mend but challenges still await...in particular with the inept health care system we have in this beloved country of ours. Hello my friends, If you’ve been following my story over the past few months then you know I suffered a catastrophic illness that put me on life support and in the hospital for nearly two months. Unfortunately, I’m not out of the woods as of yet. In the next few weeks, I am scheduled to undergo several medical procedures to determine the status of a mass growing in my abdomen. I must admit, the notion of going back into the hospital for surgery is disturbing for me and my family. To think that there may be something growing inside of me that could cause me harm is extremely unsettling.

and a short read that shows the actual numbers and in black & white (pun intended) shows the discrimination that is pervasive. I guess there were no Latinos avaiable to space travel cuz there was not mejicano 1 on the Star Trek Enterprise, can you name a prominent Latino newscaster on CNN or MSNBC? Or any of the networks? Creed is a great story and a fine film trilogy, but where is the feature that has been proposed for decades about Roberto Duran? Crazy Rich Asians??? Fine fun movie..... What? there are no crazy rich Mexicans or Puerto Ricans or Colombians. Our Black Brothers & Sisters have scores of TV shows and great films, yet represent a much smaller portion of the US population. Now Philadelphia is no Los Angeles but it does have about a 15% Latino population. Its one of my favorite shows Abbott Elementary, but couldnt we see at least one Latino in an elementary school setting? In any case you know I could go on and on and on......................
This is not the only thing that needs a change but it is one that is sorely needed. What can we do to make it happen?
