I took my new kayak up to the Santee Cooper to try and get on some big catfish on light tackle. I used both fresh shrimp and herring and I set out to see which bait would catch the most and the biggest catfish! On today's trip I went out at first light with the plan of throwing lures and attempting to sight fish redfish to start off, then later transitioning to fishing the docks for sheepshead. I Traveled to the West Coast Just to Catch This One Fish!

I was lucky enough to get back out to Southern California to fish with the one and only Glenn from San Dog Kayak Adventures and Charter Fishing! We set out for the kelp beds on this trip in search of California Sheephead, one of the most sought after coastal fish in the Pacific (it's said to taste like lobster!). Not to be confused with our East Coast "sheepshead", the California Sheephead is aggressive, can grow over 30lbs, are hemaphroditic (they change from female to male throughout their life), and are bright red and black! These are really cool and interesting fish and I had an absolute blast targeting them. We caught our limits multiple times over using some funky, alien looking shrimp known as Ghost Shrimp for bait! A Great Day of Winter Fishing Down South (Catch & Cook)

Winter fishing can be hard and this winter has been especially challenging. Huge temperature swings and high winds have made getting on the water all but impossible, particularly when you can only fish on the weekends like myself. Fortunately, this fishing trip was different. The clouds opened up, the wind laid down, and the sun came out warming up the shallow water and causing the fish to become more active. The Bite Was on From the First Drop | Offshore Winter Sheepshead Fishing

I went out fishing with Marc from @redfishbluetail and his buddy Ryan. We Definitely Made the Most of a Short Fishing Trip on a Cold Day

I started out this trip jigging huge swimbaits in deep water and fast current trying to hook into a bull red. Unfortunately, that plan didn't quite work out as often happens out on the water, but I did get one big surprising catch on that big lure! Low Water Concentrated The Fish In This Creek Like Crazy!

On this trip I broke out the old "Walmart Special" kayak that's been gathering dust in my garage to help me get to a hard to reach creek that holds some big redfish. I fished a super low negative tide and the low water had these huge fish concentrated in a tiny creek like crazy! I ended up ditching the kayak on a sandbar and I found that the fish were hungry! There were big red drum everywhere and I managed to catch quite a few great quality fish at low tide. All the fish in this video were caught on lures! Lures One Day, Live Bait The Next: A Fantastic Weekend fishing in South Carolina

For this video I chose to combine two very different days of fishing from the same weekend. In the first part of the video, I fished a completely new area with lures from the kayak and got on a fantastic bite! Catching Striped Bass on the Fly From Shore

In this video I ventured far outside of my comfort zone and spent over a week fly fishing the Maine coastline searching for one of the most popular game fish in the world: Striped Bass. Striper are aggressive, fight hard, and grow to be absolutely giant. The trip started out on an amazingly high note, then very quickly completely fizzled out. Backpacking, Camping, and (Most Importantly) Fishing

On this adventure my buddy Matthew and I set out to explore the Chattooga river in upstate South Carolina. Forming the border between the Northeast corner of South Carolina and Georgia, this river is designated as a national Wild and Scenic River and has some of the best freshwater trout fishing in the state; as well as some absolutely stunning scenery. We backpacked in and camped along the trail that winds it's way along this 57 mile river. We had a fantastic 3 days of hiking, camping, and, most importantly, fly fishing. My First Time Fly Fishing For Trout - A Perfect Morning On The River

I was in the upstate of South Carolina for my younger brother's College Gradation and I decided to bring along my brand new 5 weight fly rod outfit. I got on Google Maps and started searching the rivers and streams near where I was staying looking for some wadable water that may hold trout. I finally found an area that looked fishy. We Doubled Up and Got Dragged by Big Fish!

In this video my brother and I went inshore on the kayaks in hopes of catching a few fish for the dinner table.
