Out today on Mother Brain Records!

Today marks the release of Alchemy Of Stone And Star, a new album by the quartet of Brennan Connors, Seth Andrew Davis, Jakob Heinemann, and Evan Verploegh.

The album was recorded in September 2023 in Madison, WI at Audio For The Arts during a performance of the BlueStem Jazz Series. These three tracks feature the first meeting of this ensemble, with the group coming together from different points of the Midwest. Davis and Verploegh from Kansas City and Connors and Heinemann from Madison.

Today marks the release of Infidels by Scott Dean Taylor (drums) and Seth Andrew Davis (electric guitar). The album features four tracks of fully improvised music featuring Taylor on drums and Davis on electric guitar. This release highlights the first meeting of the duo with hopefully more to come.

We’d like to thank Duane Trower at Weights and Measures Soundlab, Craig Owens for his artwork, and Kevin Cheli for his layout and design work. Album was mixed and mastered by Davis.

Coming Soon to Mother Brain Records!

Infidels is an upcoming album by Chicago drummer/percussionist Scott Dean Taylor and Kansas City guitarist Seth Andrew Davis. Recorded in Kansas City in April 2023, this album showcases the first time the duo had played together. The title and track names of the album are inspired by the 1984 Bob Dylan album of the same name.

The album will be available February 2nd on CD and DL on the Mother Brain Records BandCamp page.
