Personally, I feel these long term deals are what causes the MLB to lose popularity with casual fans. Free agency and the possibility of big names moving to another organization is what people want. That and the lack of a salary cap.

After last night's game...the Broncos definitely have to be looking at HC Nathaniel Hackett and wondering if a change needs to be made. Wilson certainly holds some if the blame, but they just signed him to a ridiculous contract so he's not going anywhere. What do you think?
