How do you love the part of yourself that no one ever sees? When you’re all along, are you nice to that person?
It’s so easy to point out what’s not good - to pick ourselves apart & talk horribly about ourselves. As they say, we are our own worst critic.
Imagine a life where we focuses on truly loving ourselves more. Imagine how much this would affect the other relationship ships in your life.
We want to challenge you to try to be aware when you’re being mean to yourself & figure out how to alter that behavior. 💕 start small, it’ll get easier over time!

If you don't put your oxygen mask on first & you can't breathe, there's no way you can't help anyone else.
A lot of us are so accustomed to being of service to others. To make sure everyone else is comfortable, before ourselves. Which is great - but this can eventually cause burnout and frustration. You HAVE to take care of yourself in order to show up for others as the best version of yourself.
How can we teach others to enjoy life, if we're not enjoying life ourselves?
How can we teach someone to be kind, if we're not kind ourselves?
how can we teach someone to make money, if we're not successful at it?
How do we teach someone to laugh, if we're not laughing ourselves?
We challenge you this week to put your oxygen mask on first. You'll notice how well you can care for others when you care for yourself too 🥰

We tend to be our own worst critic. We are generally harder on ourselves than we are on other people. Oftentimes, this stems from having high expectations of ourselves. When we don't meet these expectations, we beat ourselves up.
Do you ever wonder what life would be like if we gave ourselves grace? If we allowed ourselves to be more kind and loving to ourselves?
It all starts with awareness. Once we are aware of the way we are treating ourselves, we can be a better friend to ourselves. If we're a better friend to ourselves - the outcome is profound. We will have more confidence, more self esteem, a better sense of self worth, value ourselves and our time more, believe in ourselves more, and trust ourselves..... Doesn't that sound good?
Our challenge for the week is this: take a moment to think about what your life would look like if you gave yourself 5% more grace. ❤️

Vulnerability is scary & can be really difficult. It's being okay sharing what's inside of us without the fear of judgement from others. When you're willing to be vulnerable, oftentimes, there's an opportunity to help people and have deeper connections with people.
When we are able to trust ourselves MORE than we trust other people's judgement, we are able to melt the shield we have up and be more vulnerable and authentic with others. In turn, creating more authentic, genuine and deeper relationships.
Our challenge for you this week is to work on trusting yourself a little bit more.

Let's talk about failure. ❌ Failing is scary & it has such a negative connotation. It's something that we try SO hard not to do - yet, it's one of the biggest reasons we learn and grow. Rather than being afraid of failure, I encourage you to shift your mindset. Next time you fail, rather than shame yourself, ask yourself the following questions:
▪️What did I learn from that?
▪️What went well?
▪️What didn't go well?
▪️What would I like to do differently next time?
This shift will help you grow through your experiences. The harder you fail, the more you learn. 💪🏼

Talk about relatable... Episode 10 dropped & it’s a good one. We are vulnerable & we dive deep into 3 mistakes we’ve made, what we learned in the process & how to move forward. Bottom line - you learn more from your messes than your successes. When you’re in the mess, we encourage you to keep going. 👏🏼

New Habits. 🎯 They can be hard. But, when you stick to them, dang they’re rewarding.
Do you have any habits you wish you could stick to? One suggestion we have if you’re struggling with sticking to a new habit is habit stacking. Take one think you have a great habit around & decide “okay after I do this one thing, I’m ALWAYS going to follow it up with this new thing.” That way, you are utilizing something that’s already engrained in you to piggy back off of!
We have a few more tips in the episode, make sure to tune in and let us know what new habits you’re trying to make in 2021!! ✨

Are the things you tell yourself day in and day out positive or negative? Most of us tend to be so hard on ourselves. We should use our self talk as a way to build ourselves up, rather than tear ourselves down.
I challenge you to come up with a visual trigger to create awareness around the negative self talk. When you realize you're doing it, switch gears and speak your affirmations over yourself. Put them in places you see them on a regular basis. ✨

Have you ever REALLY considered how the things you consume (through social media, advertisements, podcasts, Youtube, etc.) affect your mindset? Becoming aware of what we feed our minds is key. Most of us, on average, spend quite a bit of time "aimlessly" scrolling on social media. Aimlessly is in quotes because subconsciously, we are absorbing so many thoughts and feelings when we do this. If you're like us, as you scroll, you think - "oh my goodness, they are so cute & put together all the time!" Or, "wow! They make the healthiest looking meals.. I can hardly get dinner on the table for my family." Or, "man! I really wish my home could always be that clean!" Oftentimes, we spend our time scrolling, comparing ourselves to other people's lives. When in all actuality, we're just seeing the highlight reel of their lives.
I challenge you to be conscious of the thoughts going through your mind as you scroll. Are they positive? Or, are you comparing yourself & judging yourself based on what others are sharing with the world? I encourage you to dig into this and realize the negative effects this can have on your mindset & your attitude.
If you feed minds with positive thoughts, encouraging words, and surround yourself with uplifting people - you'll be surprised with how much this changes your life.

Have you ever thought what your life would look like if you could go after your dreams, knowing you wouldn’t fail? 🤔
The fear of failure is a huge limiting factor. You & your thoughts are oftentimes the biggest thing standing in your way of reaching and achieving big things.
