Shockoe Records aims to focus on amplifying the voices of artists.

It takes a more cooperative approach than traditional labels, providing the artists with more autonomy and most importantly we will not own an artist's intellectual property. We will facilitate a host of services including marketing, booking, managing, merchandise production, sync licensing, vinyl and cd production and more. This collaboration is made up of people who are passionate and driven abo

ut some cause greater than themselves, when you know the story, you're invested. Shockoe Records works with established, mature, and professional artists of any genre, who create original music with a mostly completed album, and are looking to take their career to the next level.

We’re proud, excited, thrilled, humbled excited to announce that Shockoe Sessions Live! is celebrating 5 incredible years of bringing community, talent, and unforgettable performances together! 🥳

Over the last 5 years we’ve had the privilege of showcasing the best local musicians, creating a space where our vibrant music scene thrives. From indie bands to jazz trios, acoustic duos to rock ensembles, funk, soul, turkish samba, alien jazz, we’ve experienced the diverse sounds and unique artistry that make our community’s music scene one-of-a-kind.

To celebrate this milestone, we’re throwing a ✨ special anniversary show on June 10th ✨ Details coming soon, you won’t want to miss it!
