After I Graduated last year I decided that I needed to learn real world digital marketing. I decided to go all in on Instagram, as it’s one of the best platforms for growing and monetizing on. In my first year on IG I took a passion page ( @traptheory101 ) to over 30,000 followers. At one point my monthly reach was over 40 million accounts. That year of growing my IG was the funnest year of my life. Lately I’ve set my sights primarily on my YouTube channel ( Mitchell K ), but I still post on IG frequently. I know that many of you also want to grow your Instagram’s, so on this page (and my YouTube) I want to share what’s working for me. I’m not some multi-millionaire guru. To be clear, Gary Vaynerchuk isn't saying that Instagram is completely dead and worthless. Nor am I. Gary is speaking to the fact that for many people, reach on Instagram is down. Many people, myself included, have seen big reach drops all of the sudden.
Instagram has stated that they're algorithm is changing - and for some, that means growing on IG is harder now.
