Thursday the weather cooperated. 82 and full sun! We took the 2 hr drive down to Key West. The drive was spectacular! The azure green and blue of the ocean was amazing and seeing ocean all around us beyond words! We found a place to park odd Duval St downtown and began walking. It quickly became obvious that Mars would take a few steps,stop,put his nose up into the air cock his head this way and that then do the best Sheltie spin ever and repeat! We weren’t going to get far at this pace. He was totally immersed in Key West vibe!
Fortunately we anticipated this might be the case and had brought along his backpack. We stopped out of the way and in the shade and squeezed him into his backpack. He’s put on a few pounds since the last time he used it. I’m sure it must have felt to him like he was just swaddled! Well, he basically was and he seemed quite content to be so. He did great! Hung his head one way then the other taking in all the smells and sounds! Happy as could be! Phoebe started on the ground but quickly was up in Abby’s bag. The chickens were too tempting as was their food everywhere! We spent a few hours walking the streets and driving around. We barely scratched the surface and will return again someday when we can be located in Key West. We had a 2 hr drive each way. We couldn’t leave the pups in the bus. Just wasn’t safe and we would be too far away to return quickly had the a/c stopped working. So another time Key West!
Mars got a new bed a while ago, but just found this video of Mom having a talk with Mar's about his bedtime rituals.

Fowler Detailing
2016 34PA. Just spent 3 days at Fowler Detailing having a wash and prep for ceramic coat. Their new facility is amazing. A beautiful waiting room,full bathroom with shower and washer dryer facilities. One can stay in their RV while everyone works around you outside. Closing time comes and you are free to stay right there in the comfort of your RV! You can come and go as you please no problem. The experience was amazing and their hard work paid dividends! A showroom finish that lasts for years. A five star experience from April and company. April is on top of things all the time. Always keeping up with the latest innovations in the industry. Her intellect and outgoing and kind personality makes it so easy to talk to her and learn from her.
Thank you April and the whole team! You are amazing! We will be back you can count on it!
Anyone thinking of having this done, do it! You won’t regret it!
