Bear’s Best is a great place to start if you want an introduction into mountain biking or just need some fresh air and adventure.
The trails here are mostly mellow, yet there will be times when tech riders can find their niche too!

Summer is already here. Here are some tips for those are new to riding in the Las Vegas area.

🌅🌄Exercise in the early morning or late evening: The temperature is coolest at this time. Avoid exercising midday because it’s the hottest part of the day.

🍻🍺💧Drink up: Do not wait until you are thirsty to start hydrating. Drink two to four glasses of water each hour. If you are exercising for an extended period of time, drink a sports beverage to replace the salt and minerals you lose through sweat. If you are on diuretics, or a low-salt or fluid-restricted diet, talk to your doctor first about your specific fluid needs. The 2nd photo really emphasize this rule

🤸‍♀️Wear lightweight, loose-fitting clothing: Consider dressing in clothes made with moisture-wicking fabric.

☀️☀️☀️Protect yourself from the sun: Wear a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen with an SPF rating of 15 or higher. Try to exercise in the shade. Play tennis on a court shaded by the trees or take a walk in a wooded park.

After enjoying the amazing view from Cleod 9, we stopped by La Bonita to get some groceries and I couldnot miss this amazing sky.

Can you guys guess which pedal is grippier?

This Xpedo looks good but the spikes arent that grippy because of how big they are.
So it’s time for another upgrade. We’ll see how the works.

I’ve been sitting at home hugging the ipad, painting for my Nexia Prime NFT project which will be launch this December. During that time, I finally managed to collect enough parts for the upgrade on the motobecane ebike and here are the brief results:

What’s new on the bike:
- stem: I went when from the oil slick 10mm to 60mm cuz the oil slick made my reach become too short
-crankarm: 175mm to 165mm
-dropper post 30.9mm to 27.2mm help shorten inseam.
- Xpedo Spry pedals- another set of oil slick alloy pedal.

On this ride, despite having the new Freerider Pro, strange enough the pedal feel weird and not as sticky as I expected a $100 set of pedals to be. the bike only has 60% of battery left so it was a very short ride.

Results:
- increasing stem length helps increase the handlebar reach, feel better now.
- much much less pedal strike with shorter stem but legs can’t extend all the way out due to shorter crankarm.

Left (replacement) is FSA 165 crank arm
Right (crossthreaded) is Shimano 170 stock crankarm
both are for Shimano e8000.
