Four diving boards (two high, two low) mean shorter lines, a relaxing lazy river, two huge slides, a darling little kids area and giant pools. Hands down, the best Kansas City area pool for children with a colorful and whimsical play structure with a bucket dump and slides, mini wave pool (where mom can actually relax in the shallow and catch some rays), a shallow pool, and a tall water slide. 💦 Thomas Soetaert Aquatic Center @ shawneekansas is fun for all ages with water slides, a lazy river with fun splash features, play structure for little ones, high and low diving boards, a large pool and a climbing wall.💦 Sar Ko Par Trails Aquatic Center in Lenexa now features a spacious kiddie pool with a play set and slide at the zero entry pool. There are two twisty water slides, a diving pool, water basketball, and a lazy river. @ cityoflenexa💦 Tomahawk Ridge Aquatic Center in Overland Park features a zero entry swimming pool, an inflatable water obstacle course, two water slides and a separate kiddie pool with a splash pad, slide, and sand beach. @ visitoverlandpark💦 Blue Surf Bay Waterpark in Blue Springs, Missouri is the newest waterpark in the Kansas City metro. Waterslides, lazy river, indoor warm pools, rock climbing wall, surf simulator, zero-depth entry pool, wave ball pool and indoor splash pad. Open to non Blue Springs residents only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Entrance also admits you to the Fieldhouse with basketball courts, pickleball courts and a turf field so this is more expensive than other waterparks. You need two forms of ID to enter.
