Los investigadores del sheriff han identificado a Samuel López de 17 años de edad, de San Juan, Texas, como la persona responsable del tiroteo en el club nocturno El Antro. Los investigadores aseguraron una orden de arresto de López y esta tarde fue detenido por los agentes del sheriff y la Fuerza de Tareas de Fugitivos de los Marshals de los Estados Unidos. Nos gusta agradecer a nuestros socios federales y al público su ayuda en este caso. Lopez será llevado ante un juez mañana para ser procesado formalmente.

Juan Carlos Salas Cantú, 18, was arrested after he allegedly carried out a chase on Highway 77, near the exit to FM 511, Eric Garza, a sheriff of Cameron County, reported on Wednesday.

At 8:44 a.m., a call was received from an elderly man who claimed to have shot his wife.

When the authorities arrived at block 2000 of Amy Street, they found the individual with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Sadly, the wife was declared dead at the scene of the event, while the man was taken to a local hospital.

A man was fatally run over by a car and the driver fled the scene on Friday morning, according to the Pharr Police.

Officers found the deceased man on the ground near the 500th block east of Interstate 2 Frontage Rd. The victim has not been identified.

An investigation revealed that the victim had been run over by a vehicle after the remains of a vehicle were found near his body.

According to the police, the evidence indicates that a possible Ford vehicle may have been involved.

California Governor Gavin Newsom sent a letter to the Department of Justice (DOJ) on Thursday requesting him to investigate a Florida program through which migrant asylum seekers in Texas were sent without their consent to Sacramento, California, and the exclusive island of Martha's Vineyard, in Massachusetts.

Newsom signed the letter together with the Attorney General of Calilfornia, Rob Bonta; and the sheriff of Bexar County in Texas, Javier Salazar. In the letter, the signatories describe this initiative as an "ongoing scheme" apparently promoted by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and based on deception of migrants, which would incur possible violations of federal laws.

The letter refers to the controversial initiatives backed by the 'Unauthorized Foreigners Transportation Program', funded by the state of Florida and which has so far been given the authority to relocate about 100 immigrants to other states without prior notice.

The three Democratic leaders recognized that although it is common for non-profit organizations or local governments to sometimes help move migrants from border states to other US destinations where they have relatives, this Florida program is different, since it has done by deceiving migrants, falsely promising them jobs and housing and then left them lying in front of local churches or headquarters of religious organizations, which did not even expect them

A man has admitted guilt in r**e charges after being accused of ra**ng and impregnating a 9-year-old girl in Ohio. The accused, Gerson Fuentes, 28, has been sentenced to life imprisonment, but will be able to apply for parole after serving between 25 and 30 years in prison.
