The reason for this was because it was spread on twitter that presidential candidate for labour party allegedly went to his palace for him sultan of sokoto to support his presidential ambition.

For those who don't know sultan of sokoto is the leader for the muslim organization with over 90 million muslims under his leadership.

Sultan of sokoto had to come out, claiming that peter obi never visited his palace for an endorsement or support from him.

Argentina vs Netherlands: Referee Mateu Lahoz sent home by FIFA

Referee, Mateu Lahoz has been sent home and will no longer referee at the World Cup.

Lahoz will not be officiating any of the remaining games at the World Cup as he ‘heads home from Qatar.’

According to COPE, the referee’s final game was the feisty quarter-final clash between Argentina and Netherlands, where he issued out an incredible 15 yellow cards.

Lahoz’s performance was not well received by either team - with Argentina’s players, particularly vocal about his officiating.

I Stoned My Two Sons To Death Because They’re Not Obedient, Says 25-Year-Old Father

25-year-old father in Adamawa State, Elisha Tari, has explained why he stoned his two sons to death last week.

He said he stoned the boys, who are three and five years, because they disobeyed him. “I asked them to say ‘God’ but they said ‘fire’ instead,” he told newsmen at the Police headquarters in Yola where he is being held over the incident. The indigene of Himike village in Michika Local Government Area was nabbed last Thursday for allegedly hitting his two children with stones, leading to their death.

Elisha is a local musician whose wife left, leaving the two children with him. Speaking to newsmen while being paraded with 30 other suspects, Elisha said the children came to him in the kitchen on that fateful day while he was cooking for them and they started a conversation. He added that it got to a point of asking them to say ‘God’ but that they instead said ‘Fire’ and kept repeating ‘fire’, ‘fire’ instead of ‘God’. “I became provoked with their action as a result of which I picked up stones and hit them on their heads,” he said. He admitted to being an Indian h**p smoker and inhaler of s***f in addition to taking alcohol drinks.

Best Teacher in Imo State gets 9 cups of beans, 2 tubers of yam, red oil as prize

A secondary school teacher in Imo state, Sunday Nwafor, has received nine cups of beans and two tubers of yam as award for being selected as the best teacher by his students.

Nwafor who also has a private lesson center was recognized for exceptional dedication to duty after graduating students of the school where he works who all passed their West African Examination Council (WAEC) exam singled him out as their best teacher.

He received Agricultural items such as nine cups of beans, two tubers of yam, and a bottle of red oil, including an envelope with undisclosed amount as gifts for his hard work.
