Feeling incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to meet with our Kenyan Ambassador to Germany Amb Tom Amolo. His support for Kenyans in Germany is truly inspiring and his insights on Kenya's relationship with Germany were invaluable.

Since December, Louise and I have been co-creating a multimedia exhibition, which examines the colonial history of coffee in Kenya. We address the consequences of colonialism and simultaneously bring an awareness into the lives of people involved in coffee production.

Join us on the 9th of Feb as we present the first results of our exchange and artistic research.

This has been made possible thanks to an initiative by kulturweit-Tandem of the German UNESCO Commission e.V. which promotes joint projects of people from African countries and Germany that deal with the history of colonialism and with our post-colonial present.

This beautiful place is called Mt. Longonot and is one of the best places to go hiking in Kenya. It is even possible to camp inside the crater.

Every time I look at this I am reminded of the magnificent power of nature and how it greatly influences our lives, even when we don't realize.

Hang this on your wall and let it be like a portal that brings you into my part of the world.
