It’s because of you, Guruji, that I am me.
In 2012-2016 I made annual voyages to study Yoga in Mysore, India. I got over my fear of international travel by doing my run in the airport. I ran everyday in India at 3am before Yoga practice. I would not understand so much about myself, the importance of this run streak and life in general without my teacher, Sharath Jois.
Like he said about his grandfather - “although his physical body is not there, his teaching is there.” (2014)
Gurujis teachings will always live within me. I am grateful for the chance to study and practice with him. My condolences to his students and family
