Langkawi’s well-loved sundown buffet spread returns to Planter’s at The Danna Langkawi Resort & Beach Villas] featuring over 100 selections and three (3) rotational menus of contemporary interpretations, including Chef Zahir’s timeless classics and signature specialties. Savour an array of iconic Malaysian delights infused with rich flavours, aromatic spices and traditional recipes.

The buffet includes fresh succulent seafood, delicious grilled meats, juicy satay, mouth-watering curries, soups in the kawah and live action stalls.

Available from 27 March to 21 April 2023, look out for dishes such as ayam panggang percik, kambing rebung madu, soto padang berempah, ketam bercili, daging salai masak lemak, bubur lambuk utara, and mutton briyani.

The buffet spread will be complimented with a wide selection of pastries and dates too, plus a variety of delectable desserts such as Raya cookies, dodol, pandan cheesecake, durian eclairs, crème caramel, bubur pisang sago and apple crumble tart.

Enjoy resort-style alfresco dining experience in the breezy open air at the private gazebos that overlook the largest 3-tiered infinity pool on the island with spectacular views of the majestic Andaman Sea.

Additionally, throughout the fasting month, a special pre-dawn sahur menu is available via in-room dining for the convenience of guests. Priced at RM 160 nett per adult, the Sajian Warisan Tradisi buka puasa buffet dinner at Planter’s will run from 6:30pm to 10:30pm. A special early bird offer is available at RM90 nett per adult till 26 March 2023.

This Ramadan, is offering the Muhibbah Malaysia Dinner Buffet at The Courtyard which is inspired by the melting pot of cultures and lifestyles from all around Malaysia.

Enjoy a wholesome buffet feast with festive melodies in a covered alfresco venue at the Centre Court that is specially prepared by a team of passionate chefs, led by Chef de Cuisine, Ismadin Mohd Isa.

Taste à la minute specials from a variety of live-action and carving stations of a variety of local Malaysian delicacies from different states in Malaysia. Highlights include Ayam Panggang Madu Berbijian (Kedah), Perak – Daging Rendang Tok, Kelantan – Gulai Ikan Tonggol, Perlis – Kari Kambing Mangga Muda, Penang – Kari Kepala Ikan, Malaca – Gulai udang Harimau Batang Keladi, Pahang – Ikan Patin Masak Tempoyak, Kuala Lumpur – Bubur Lambok and more.

This year, The Courtyard also presents a selection of signature sauces from the different states in the country. Such as Sambal Belacan Mangga Muda – Selangor, Cencalok – Melaka, Sambal Tempoyak Daun Kesom – Negeri Sembilan, Sambal Ikan Bilis Tumbuk Cili Padi – Kedah, Budu – Kelantan and more.

An ‘assisted buffet’ setting extends from the indoor to the outdoor dining areas of JP teres for a true enhancement of one’s full ‘buka puasa’ experience. Comprising traditional and quintessential delicacies, the Nostalgia Rembulan Buffet feature numerous live stations that include grilled sustainable seafood, Satay, Kerabu assortment, Rojak Buah, Kambing Bakar carving station, a la minute Murtabak and Roti John, and desserts.
