A new, no-fee grocery ordering and pickup service begins Tuesday to address grocery access problems in the food desert communities of South Dallas. Kroger and Bonton Farms partnered to make it happen.

Just learned about this program on Texas Country Reporter. So cool.
The students at Fredricksburg High School work with closely local builders, trade partners, and suppliers, who serve as mentors, and earn credit for building the one-bedroom home.
They literally build one bedroom home from the ground up! The "teachers" are volunteers that want to see pride in the traders restored!

To be honest, this project that combined talents of a Texas HBA and local high school students was one of our absolute favorites! Ugggh!!! Rao's sauce and pasta is THE best! I really hope Campbell's doesn't change anything! If you haven't tried Rao's, try it NOW before Campbell's gets their hands on it!
I live in a tiny home, space is important, but I keep 5 jars of Rao's in inventory!!

Will the sauce still be simple, delicious and effortlessly tasty? Only time will tell

It's been a busy spring break. We underwent lots of home improvements, but these are my faves! We bought these two hanging window shelves from via Etsy. We were looking for a way to: 1) add storage in the kitchen and 2) provide some privacy with the windows (but not block too much light). These are perfect! Love them!

ADVICE PLEASE!!!
We bought these beautiful carved wood hooks from on Etsy. We LOVE them. They're beautiful and unique.
Our issue is that our white walls are getting scuffed. :( Any ideas on how to treat the scuffs or maybe prevent them?

"Snow day" for our high school senior means knocking out some college coursework for her online art class at Savannah College of Art & Design ( ). She'll be an on-campus student at SCAD this fall.

Her school is doing a "kindness" fundraiser.
The school raises money while making an impact in our community.
Students ask friends and family for donations via the online Raise Craze platform while paying it forward by serving others.
Students will spend time serving, not selling!
Our kiddo is making cookies that she will give for our mailman and other delivery drivers to thank them for their dedication during this Texas winter storm!

Well, we had a "snow day" today- ice, thunder, rain. Total mess!

Our 5'2" 11 year old ( ) did what other kids in our area did- played !

Being tiny doesn't cramp her- good or bad weather!

Whether its the moving in or unpacking from a trip, having "stuff" laying around the tiny home is a challenge! BUT, it's still 100% still worth it! Just gotta focus and get it done! In the end, you get to lay in bed and appreciate the scenery!

Our builder, Indigo River Tiny Homes , tells us that people always want to see pictures of "life" in a tiny home. Well, this was our first couple of weeks in : figuring out furniture!
We bought our furniture before our home arrived. We went off the dimensions of the room. We didn't really think about placement. Well, when our couch and chair arrived, it did not work! It fit, but it it was really too much furniture for the space.
So, we returned the chair (that's why it's covered in a sheet: dog hair).
Then, we started "sketching" out what the space would look like WITH furniture.
We still don't have another chair.
Our barstools are on backorder (a month overdue), but we're ok. We aren't in a rush to spend $$$ just to fill the space.
We're embracing "living intentionally." It doesn't have to be "picture perfect" right now. We don't have to use credit and all of our free time to make it perfect. We just have to wait for the perfect items to come along.:)
