DUSTIN - 20’s (estimated dialogue blocks 334)
College student with a growing addiction to Necromancy, a designer drug altering his brain chemistry.
“The government has a tight lid on the park. The information released to the public is vague at best. To let a professor and two students in for research purposes doesn't fit.”
“It's not that, it made me feel healthy, strong, more focused than I ever had. I've seen the footage of addicts going insane. Losing control. It doesn't have that effect on me.”
“I don't need anyone's help. I need to be left alone. You don't understand, you've never understood me. I'm done wasting my time with you.”
CLAIRE – 20’s (estimated dialogue blocks 216)
Lifelong friend of Dustin, vivacious and smart. One of Professor Lyons top students.
“What is wrong with you, we're standing on the edge of a whole new world and all I get is a "yeah".”
“I didn't fall. He did this. We need to find him before he hurts himself. He's getting stronger.”
“We sent samples off to Beth and Ernie, there may be some left behind residue. That could at least tell us what was used to remove the arm.”
PROFESSOR LYONS 40-50’s (estimated dialogue block 150)
Professor at Wright College, he strikes a deal to investigate the wormhole.
“A wormhole is a structure linking disparate points in spacetime, based upon a special solution of the Einstein field equations. Simply put, a tunnel connecting different locations in the multiverse capable of faster than light travel.”
“No. From what I was told those are omnivores, a herd animal. Similar to a cow with other mammal characteristics such as the long fur. But the tentacles are another matter.”
COLONEL DANDRIDGE – 50’s (estimated dialogue blocks 56)
In charge of the base at Wrangel Saint Elias. He will stop at nothing to protect his post.
“I’ve already briefed the Professor on the numerous attacks throughout the park. Saint Elias houses many predatory animals. Bears, wolves, and some cougars. We're certain it wasn't one of those.”
“I remember Professor. We get to examine your student and you get to study the wormhole. But don't forget you're at my fort, under my command. I control everything that happens here, and I will do what is best for my post and my people. Is that understood?”
ERNIE – 30s (estimated dialogue blocks 117)
Scientist and husband of Beth. He befriends Dustin. A bit of a comic.
“We've seen random uncontrolled Psychokinesis in subjects addicted to Necromancy, usually in the final stage of life.”
“I study Necron 9. I know what it did to you the first time you took it. I know what happens as it builds up in your system. And I also know you should be dead.”
BETH – 30’s (estimated dialogue blocks 56)
Scientist, serious and calculating. Wife of Ernie.
“We now know that small amounts of the drug will never leave the user's body. The left-over parts of the drug build up inside the brain and that is what drives the user to insanity, and death.”
“Unfortunately, we know very little about Necron 9. What I do know is you're alive and apparently in good health. You shouldn't be, but you are.”
RAWLINGS -30’s (estimated dialogue blocks 66)
Army Sargent at the Base.
“Yes ma'am. Saint Elias is larger than Switzerland and contains a quarter of all the Glaciers in North America. It is beautiful, but extremely dangerous.”
“And he probably told you the victims were elk. The park is vast, much of it unexplored. We have no idea what could be out here.”
GEORGE – 20’s (estimated dialogue blocks 26)
Dustin’s roommate. Protective.
“She's messing with your brain brother. You need to be away from her for a while, get some prospective. There are women everywhere, unattached women.”
JACKSON – 20’s (estimated blocks of dialogue 12)
Army Private at the base.
“Sorry, but the Commander wanted me to tell you they're waking him up today.”
MIKE – 20-30’s (estimated blocks of dialogue 6)
Drug dealer.
“Hey man this ain't easy to get. The feds are everywhere.”
