Sesame Street is everything. Starry T recently made a huge life decision (check out Ep 7). Problem solving advice for ALL ages. Big problems and decisions can be overwhelming. When you break it down, for adults and children, a problem becomes easier to manage. How many times a day do your students come to you with a problem? In the classroom you can teach these steps with the movements. While I AM NOT planning for the upcoming school year yet.. this will be something new that I teach and preach from day 1.

We all have our days, weeks, years where we feel like we are drowning. No matter how many years you have in the game, teaching is not easy. It could be with one kid or the whole class. Call on your teacher tribe. It’s likely that someone can help.

What Elon meant to say pt 2… after having my second, I got paid for SIX DAYS and came back after a C-section to teaching after six weeks. And then payroll didn’t put me back on for another 4 MONTHS!!! In Sweden, both parents get 6 months paid! What’s your horror story?
